The Ruger Mini-14 Tactical rifle offers inherent accuracy and quick repeat shot capability. Its Garand-style action with breech bolt locking system, fixed-piston gas system and self-cleaning moving gas cylinder give it unparalleled reliability under harsh operating conditions. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting the included Picatinny-style rail. Additionally, the integral scope mounts, machined directly on the solid steel receiver, provide a stable mounting surface for the included scope rings, thus eliminating a potential source of looseness and inaccuracy in the field.
The Mini-14 Tactical also has a cold hammer-forged, 16.12″ threaded barrel, with a 1/2″x28 thread pattern. The rifle comes with an installed flash suppressor. This Mini-14 has a black ghost ring adjustable rear sight and a fixed blade front sight. This model also comes with a black synthetic stock, and two 20-round magazines.

1 year agoWas wanting a carbine in 5.56 and considering an AR platform. Not into accessories so went with the Mini-14 Tactical stainless model 5819. Reliable function but action was a little rough out of the box. Smoothed a few spots on the receiver and bolt, cleaned and lubed, Wonderful!!... Grabagun pickup at Coppell store was quick and easy.

1 year agoI think people are Mini-14 lovers or they are not. I got my first mini-14 over 30 years ago and i love them all. I also have a few ar15 and and ak47 but I love my mini-14. these are light, compact and easy to run. they are loose and they rattle and clatter but they run, and run, and run. these new ones now include a rail in the box so you can mount a red dot but the reason i like the mini is the bare bones minimilist feel, its just a tube and a trigger and if you like wood you get a nice … Read More
