RUGER NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK

Ruger SuperBlackHawks are super strong and rugged magnum revolvers. Very happy with this one, I like the balance of the 5.5" barrel. the gun looks wonderful and the grips are very nice. I love the smell of H-110 magnum powder in the morning. I'm also impressed with grabagun's fast shipping...and good honest pricing. no hidden credit card fees.

Heavy but well balanced. Light tame load using 240 grain ammo. Can feel the extra weight and punch shooting 300 grain hunting loads. When I shoot it, I'm immediately reminded performance and energy far exceed popular semi-autos. Hit target paper a few times at 100 yards, need to practice to hit rings at 100 yards. Only time my hand hurt is when I allowed the sharp wood edge of the butt to press against my hand.

Very pleased with this purchase, picked it up three days after I ordered it.Like another review stated, not having hidden CC fees was a big plus.

Fit and finish is superb. Every thing shipped earlier than expected. I'm very pleased with Ruger and with Grabagun. I will be buying again!

First off, kudos to Grabagun on yet another flawless transaction. If you load your own ammo and you like it hot you need to get a Ruger like this one. Overbuilt is an understatement.

Thank you, Grab A Gun! I never thought I could afford a ruger! I had planned to purchase an EAA bounty hunter, then I saw this Super Blackhawk on your website. You by far, blew away the competition! To top it off, you even have a Henry Big Boy 44 mag in satin chrome, to go with it. I haven't seen that anyone else even offers that! I was looking for a 44 mag pistol/rifle combo, for hunting on horseback. You have definitely help may get my cowboy on!

This is a beautiful piece. It has heft to it, but that's a plus when firing a .44 mag. The stainless shines like silver and the grips are especially beautiful on this particular gun. In this case, no need to buy anything fancier. Hope to get out to the range soon and fire a few rounds. I've owned Rugers before and always liked them.

I've waited quite a while to purchase this gun. I was not disappointed. Great feel and looks fantastic. I highly recommended it.

I was finally able to get the Super Blackhawk out to the range last weekend and was surprised by how manageable the recoil was. I was shooting Mag-Tech 240 JSP. Additionally, two other features I liked over the .357 were the wider grips and hammer spur. Although I have smaller hands, the Super Blackhawk seemed to fit me better. The difference in grip size can be seen by the attached photo. BTW, as you can tell, I’ve already replaced the hammer on the .357. All in all it’s a great pistol.

Was exactly what i wanted, balance, weight, function and fits my hand perfectly. gag had the best price and shipped quite quickly considering the holiday. However, to my disappointment The firearm was received with a damaged firing pin and most of the grip screws were missing threads. ruger was understanding and sent a shipping label. the gun was sent back the next day. I have no reason to believe they won't properly have the gun sorted and quickly sent back.

Great revolver in actual shooting. mitigates recoil very well vs da revolvers of comparable weight (e.g. S&W M29). trigger is very good but fluting on cylinder clearly done manually and not symmetrical between chambers and as received rear sight cranked almost all the way to the left, leading to groups being far left. pin for the rear sight has a tendency to walk out under recoil. fit and finish good but with some rough spots around cylinder cut-out.

Very nice looking handgun, Fit, finish ,and grips all are excellent. Shoots and functions perfectly and likes my lead bullet loads. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. The only thing that could make this revolver better is if it had an unfluted cylinder as all the other barrel length Super Blackhawks have, but I guess that remark should be addressed to Ruger. Please relay that message to Ruger for future manufacture or have them send me an unfluted cylinder for mine, that would make this purchase PERFECT!!!
