The Ruger PC Carbine comes with interchangeable magazine wells that accept the readily available Ruger and Glock magazines. Ships with SR-Series Pistol and Security-9 magazine well installed and an additional magazine well accepting Glock magazines is included. Easy takedown enables quick separation of the barrel/forend assembly from the action for ease of transportation and storage. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back and verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the subassemblies and pulling them apart. Dead blow action features a custom tungsten dead blow weight that shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. Bolt is machined from heat treated, chrome-moly steel to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability.

1 year agoSportsman's Warehouse was a first time experience and as first impressions go it was an A+.Their customer service was outstanding considering the tremendous volume of firearms and accessories being bought these days. Great prices on many items. Ruger model 19116 is what you would expect from a quality brand. It is a great companion for a Glock 9mm. The 19116 is a smart idea for a smart handling,, smooth trigger, solid carbine.

1 year agoSo far, do good! I've only taken it to the range three times, but it's been a nice gun to shoot each time! I ran it with the supplied ruger magazine the first two times and switched out the mag well and ran it with glock magazines the third. Both run very nicely! I did get some failure to ejects with lighter rounds(124gr) but had no issues with the 147gr rounds that I intend to use with this.

1 year agoGreat fun out of the box, but more with an inexpensive reflex sight (Pinty). Hell on steel plates!! I would have preferred the 19117 with threaded barrel, but realistically, by the time that option is useful for a suppressor in California, Hell will probably have frozen over...

1 year agoGreat little gun. Heavy for its size but was a soft shooter IMO. Accurate with just the iron sights.

1 year agoGreat carbine, only complaint was that it felt a little short but nothing putting on the included stock extenders couldn't fix! 1000rds later I've added an extended mag release & slide bolt. But it performs like butter & ate everything we've put through it. The ruger AND glock magwells really changed the game. Plus there are lots of aftermarket stocks and grips for this on Optics Planet & ProMag

1 year agoSame design and feel as their popular 10/22. Great gun. Add a Vortex red dot optic and it'll drive nails all day at 50 yards.
