Built of the concepts of legendary snub nose revolvers, the Ruger SP101 is a modern rendition that does not disappoint. Chambered in 8mm with a custom rubber grip, you won’t have to worry about the recoil that is apparent with other revolvers. A transfer bar mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge. For a safe, low recoil firearm that is chambered in the efficient and low-cost 9mm caliber, the Ruger SP101 is your gun.

2 years agoGreat shooter with a higher grip. Cheap way to practice double action pull and semi snubby shooting.

2 years agoThis little beauty has quickly become my favorite carry gun. The 9mm load makes recoil a non-issue. The hogue grip gives my pinkie a place rest comfortably. I strongly recommend this For everyone, men and women alike.

2 years agoFirst I have to say GAG is awesome and my go to. Best selection, best service, best prices, cheapest and fastest shipping. I love the sp101. it's a beautiful revolver, fit and finish is top shelf. It fits my hand like it was made for me and functions perfectly. It points and shoots naturally, is really accurate for a small revolver and only limited by my ability. It's much more enjoyable to shoot than my S&W Airweight 38. In the 0 to 10 yard range it's as accurate as you'll ever want. I … Read More

2 years agoOnly put 100 rounds through it so far. bought for my wife, but she has a little rough time drawing back the hammer for single action use. no problem da. hammer spring is stout. Action jammed a few times out of the box (dry operation). will require some breaking in and it will be a great gun. I put hogue grips on it, as grip is small for my hands. Overall quite pleased. May change out front sight.

1 year agoGreat Pistol. I put bigger rubber grips on it. Sturdy & accurate, nice size to carry especially easy for fast reload with the Moon clips.

1 year agobought mine in march, 2018. put about 200 rds thru it, replaced the stock grips with Hogue and have since ran about 800 rds thru it. An absolute pleasure to shoot and easy to carry with a good quality IWB holster.

1 year agogORGEOUS GUN. THOUGH I HAVEN'T SHOT IT YET. I DID GET A MAPLE BADGER GRIP TO DRESS IT UP MORE. I AM A BIG RUGER FAN AND THIS IS AN ESPECIALLY PRETTY GUN.

1 year agoI like the 9mm sp101, trigger gritty, ruger should take a little more time on the triggers, other than that Good Gun.

1 year agoI bought this revolver in 9mm because I have a 9mm semi auto and I wanted a revolver that took the same ammo. Gun was a little sticky (trigger and action) when I first received it but after about 200 rounds its as smooth as butter. I really like this gun and recommend it to anyone wanting a short revolver, fun to shoot and pretty darn accurate even for these old eyes.

1 year agoMy first revolver was a 9mm to Compliment my 9mm Pistols. Since then I have become a huge fan of Ruger SP101. Clips are Not a problem with bending nor the cyl getting too dirty to use them. It is bigger in the cylinder and therefore heavier thAn my 357 MOdel. Hands down this is the best overall choice for a 9 mm revolver. I carry OWB or Pocket Holster. Taurus: Too smaLl, Kimber, too new and costly. Charter Arms-Not considered. But if I had to choose ONE SP 101 it would be the” 357/38 SP 101 in the Same barrel leNGth.” If only wanting a 9 mm Go with this one.....At least try it out.

1 year agoMine function checked ok at store, but malfunctioned at range when loaded. 1st shot hammer pulled back failed to lock fired without finger on trigger. Sent back to Ruger. Trigger and pawl replaced. Returned in 2 weeks. Shoots perfect now.H

1 year agoAdded Hogue grips that work out much better than the standard, going to get a trigger job done next because the trigger just doesn’t compare to my Colt King Carry , sorry I’m spoiled….got this revolver mainly because it shoots 9MM

1 year agoAwesome gun. Built like a tank. Little heavy for carry compared to my SW642 38spc but not bad. The moon clips are ok. Love not having to carry different ammo to the range to shoot this and my VP9. I bought different wood grip panels to dress it up.

1 year agoSolid gun, that really has some weight to it. Fits great in my hand and is quick to point. Only downside was that it didn’t ship with moon clips.

1 year agoLove my SP101. I wanted a revolver in 9mm and this pistol is perfect. A little “heavy” on the trigger, but that can be an easy fix. It shoots very accurate and is way to carry.

1 year agoGreat pistol for concealed carry or self defense in close quarters (not extremely accurate at longer ranges). Also a nice niche option where you can use standard 9mm ammo in a revolver. The moon clips are very easy to use despite the negative comments you can find online (not sure how people have so many issues with these).

1 year agoThis is a great little revolver. I got it for my wife, as revolvers are somewhat easier to operate and can fit smaller hands better than a subcompact auto with a double stack mag. It's 100% reliable, and it's fairly easy to disassemble and polish the moving parts to make it even easier to shoot.

1 year agoIt took awhile to get to my location, but the staff communicated with me and made sure I was aware of the products whereabouts. The staff was accommodating also, since I needed to change my FFL provider ( that and Covid were the reasons my order took so long) and they jumped on that and got it changed quickly. The product was in pristine condition upon arrival. Perfect purchase thanks.
