Ruger Precision MSR stock features a bottom Picatinny rail and soft rubber buttpad. The left-folding stock hinge accepts any AR-style stock. Length of pull and comb height are adjustable. In-line recoil path manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock, not through a traditional bedding system, providing maximum accuracy potential. Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is externally adjustable with a pull weight range of 2.25 to 5 pounds; wrench is stored in the bolt shroud. Extended trigger-reach AR-style grip and 45° ambidextrous safety selector. May be configured with any AR-style grip and selector. Handguard includes integral QD sling attachment points to eliminate the need for additional adaptors, a target-style flat bottom that improves stability and an integral bottom 1.50″ dovetail that is compatible with RRS S.O.A.R. and similar QD systems. 18″ free-float handguard is made of hard anodized aluminum and features Magpul M-LOK accessory attachment slots on all four sides for improved scope clearance for long-range scopes and easy mounting of M-LOK-compatible rails and accessories.

This rifle is an absolute BEAST! I love the platform (AR) and how dang accurate it is. This thing is phenomenal for the price paid. The best part, is that it is up for any precision challenge out the box, yet fully upgradable if you want even more out of it.

worth every damn penny! fit and finish is perfect. muzzle break was not level but it was no big deal. easy correction with a wrench. can't wait to take it out when my youngest goes to school next month.

Had my eye on this rifle but like so many places, hard to come by. Received the notice it was back in stock, ordered and picked up from a dealer. Very easy.

This rifle is bigger in person that it is on the picture. I wish it does come with Iron Sight or some type of scope because it cost almost 2000 dollar. Bipods would be great again it is very expensive rifle.

Beautiful gun, trigger pull is great, recoil is minimal, and I paired this up with sig sauer scope tango6 5x30x56 and leupold rings. Great buy.

Well made rifle. Hitting a full size IPSC silhouette target at 1000 yards is easy. Ruger Precision Rifle shot just under 1 moa at 100 and 1000 yards right out of the box with factory ammo.

After buying myself a 338 Lapua my wife wanted one so she didn’t have to twist my arm to much before buying her this 338. Besides it being her style of rifle the recoil is far less than my christensen arms mpr, probably due to the increased weight. She is Running a Trijicon Long Range MOA scope and rugged ridge carbon fiber bipod from extreme sports. She loves her Lapua Magnum and I love my gun loving wife. The only downside is we are using twice as much ammo

Great rifle, you can really feel is well balanced and has the needed weight in order to better mitigate recoil. It's loud, but a lot of fun too. Expensive to shoot, but then again this is not a plinker.

In .338 Lapua, you get the best of the RPR calibers. The rifle is perfectly suited to a .338, and you have little reason to "buy up" from there. The accuracy is as good as a Barrett ($5,000), and so close to an Accuracy International ($10,000) that you would be a rare shooter to wring out the difference. Learn how to adjust the length of pull (hint: you have to raise the cheekpiece, first). The bolt throw could be more buttery smooth. The tank brake will likely need a subtle tweak. I'd recommend putting the Anarchy Outdoors Penguin Grip on, instead of the standard AR-15 style.

I love the changes that Ruger has made to their Precision Rifles for magnum ammo. The bolts are great with smooth action and the other improvements made recently make the Ruger Precision Rifle a winner.

Great rifle. Handles the recoil like a champ. Very easy to shoot all day. Great start into precision shooting.

Shot sub 1 inch groups from 100. Extremely solid rifle. Pretty heavy and extremely loud with the muzzle break… Gonna need double ears when shooting. But all in all a great rifle.

This is without a doubt the best firearm I’ve ever owned. It’s awesome to shoot, very accurate and just plain awesome! I’ve run a few hundred rounds through it since I got it in mid December 2019 and I guess I’m lucky enough to have a 1000 yard range within 7 miles of me. Ruger knocked it out of the zip code with this model.

This was in stock, so I purchased it. Three days later I receive an email stating my order was canceled because they were out of stock. DUH !!!

I read a review that another buyer bought one of these, After the sale they can back and it was out of stock. I hoped that it would not be the case for me. But it was. This is not the issue. They had a pending transaction remaining on my card for more than a week. Just know that they will lock your money down for more than a week

Article said rifle was LNIB, and it wasn't lying. Slapped a thermal on it and went to the range the very next day. Shoots 105gr Hornady Black ammunition very well. 10/10 would recommend.

I bought an RPR .338 Lapua from a different vendor. My rifle shoots better than I do. With my hand loads this gun shoots a .323 group at 100 yards with SMK 250 grain and RL 33 powder with cci magnum primers in ppu brass. It's a great rifle and a pleasure to shoot. The recoil is very manageable unless you're just a wuss! If you want to get into large magnums and don't want to spend a fortune... buy this gun!

Great accuracy, looks good, not too heavy but enough weight to absorb considerable amount of the recoil of this beast caliber.
