The Ruger Precision Rifle takes quality to another level and is equipped with many features to provide a highly customizable shooting experience. The medium-contour barrel with a Ruger Precision Rifle® Hybrid Muzzle Brake works to reduce recoil and blast to the sides of the shooter. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail is securely seated for increased long-range elevation capabilities. An in-line recoil path manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock which provides maximum accuracy. The patent pending multi-magazine interface functions interchangeably with AICS and M110/SR-25/DPMS/Magpul-style magazines and some M14 magazines.

Additional Features:

    • CHF barrel with 5R Rifling at minimum bore and groove dimensions, minimum headspace and centralized chamber

    • Medium-contour (.75″ at the muzzle) barrel features a Ruger Precision Rifle® Hybrid Muzzle Brake to effectively reduce recoil while minimizing noise and blast to the sides of the shooter.

    • Ruger® Precision MSR stock with QD sling attachment points features a bottom Picatinny rail and soft rubber buttpad. The left-folding stock hinge is attached to an AR-style buffer tube and accepts any AR-style stock. Length of pull and comb height are adjustable.

    • Three-lug bolt with 70° throw with dual cocking cams and a smooth-running, full diameter bolt body.

    • Oversized bolt handle for positive bolt manipulation, with a 5/16″-24 thread pattern for easy replacement. Bolt disassembly tool is stored in the Ruger Precision Rifle® Billet Aluminum Bolt Shroud for easy striker channel cleaning.

I just sold my Ruger Precision 6.5 Creedmore to a local GUNSHop. The rifle is very accurate. With my vortex scope it was a tack driver. However, Ruger tends to over engineer things. I didn't like the bolt design, especially the plastic leverage tool to remove the firing pin. It's housed in a shroud that feels cheap. Also, the trigger group assembly has a very delicate part that's easy to break or lose if you decide to remove the trigger group assembly. I'm looking at Savage's Elite Precision 110 as an upgraded platform

Love it,it is everything as promised, haven’t shot less than 400 yards since I fired the first round after setting in at 100!!!!!! Highly recommend this rifle, for the money it’s a beast!!!

So accurate and smooth. Became boring to use at the 100 yard range. Its just a rEd hole puncher at that range And 6.5 creedmore rounds are now so expensive when you can find them. A longer range is Over an hour away, but worth it. Mine is the 2nd generation rifle.

Extremely accurate gun. The adjustable trigger is very precise. The gun is precision. I load my own cartridges.

I love this rifle. Super accurate and feels like you are shooting a smaller firearm. No COMPLAINTS. I did switch out the factory barrel with the proof research carbon fiber barrel and some other small changes.

I'm using this rifle to hit well past 1800 yards and only mod so far is a fat b*stard comp and an Arken scope. Fantastic!

Very good rifle for the money. Very good place to do business. Everything went very fast and smoothly. Fast shipping also.

I love this rifle. It's heavy, but that helps absorb the recoil. Seriously feels like shooting .223! Make sure you use ear protection, the muzzle brake makes it loud, but it takes some oomph out of the recoil. This is a light recoiling sweet shooting rifle. With factory Norma match ammo, easily sub-moa as long as the shooter does his/her part. For plinking ammo I used Hornady American Gunner 140gr BTHP, it can be found for cheap and can be very accurate. I swapped the trigger for A Timney flat

Bolt knob and mag release need to be upgraded but it only cost $60 for both. Overall just a great gun.

I've had this rifle for 4 weeks and finally got a chance to go to the range. Fired 5 rounds just to rough in the scope. The gun is well made and the bolt is extremely smooth. As the weather gets better and I get some home made ammo made I'll make another trip to check out the loads. I took the gun to a club meeting and everyone that looked at it was impressed.

Out of the box best bang for your buck. Sub MOA first group after zeroing. Just buy one you won’t regret it!

I am very pleased with the rifle. The box the rifle came in was damaged but the shipping box wasn’t. I was concerned at first but after examining the rifle I realized it was not damaged. I would buy from Palmetto State Armory again.

Bought mine from a local retailer, had it for almost 6 months now. Ive shot this rifle maybe 6 times, the barrel still needs to be seasoned. However, mounted with my Vortex HT/S 6x24-50 scope, I can pit aces at 300 yards easily. 600 yards is a piece of cake even for a novice shooter and this rifle. Claims its good for 1800 yds and I believe it. I had to replace the bolt shroud because that plastic thing was just...crap. Replaced it and the tool with an Anarchy Outdoors bolt shroud almost

Shot 4” gong at 600yrds repeatedly right out of the box… once I got it dialed in this thing was driving nails… great value for long distance shooting.

I have successfully hunted hogs with a Ruger AR 556 for several years. However I felt the .556 lacks the knockdown power I was looking for. I purchased the RPR in 6.5 Creedmore to give me this. I have not been disappointed! The rifle consistently groups at sub MOA and provides the power to put a hog down and keep him down with a single shot. The trigger pull is a short and crisp 2.5 pounds. Recoil is negligible. The only negative that I find is the weight. After adding a infrared scope and illuminator you will definitely want to add a comfortable carry strap.

Best "bang-for-the-buck" tactical precision rifle on the market. Bar none. It's heavy as all get out, but otherwise it's really good!
