So far, I am liking this little pistol. I bought it to use in teaching my Daughter in Law to shoot. She is a little recoil sensitive, so we started with a .22LR, then moved to the .380. This pistol is easy to handle and rack the slide. Recoil seems to be much softer than with my PPK/S or Glock 42. I did experience a problem somewhere between 80 and 100 rounds. Really nice handling and ease of operation...racking is smooth and easy to chamber a round...sights are right on and quick to acquire when shooting...I have bought other .380s and they were all too snappy for spouse...this one is a lot easier for her to operate...and still compact enough to provide concealed carry with enough rounds to spare. May have to get another one for me!

I love this gun, it has become one of my favorite pistols. Just a nice change when you can pick up a handgun and have an exceptionally soft recoil. Point of aim doesn't move off target. Also I find this gun very easy to clean. Great job Ruger !!!

I like it a lot for a .380 with a 15 rouns mag. Very light to rack the slide and it is well built, except the mags are a little cheap and fragile. Smith & Wesson mags are usually built better. Come on Ruger, if you read this, design and build your mags better quality in the future!!!

Great gun for edc home defense etc. Came with 2 mags. On the range it was dead on target every time. Shoots like it's big brother 9mm. No problems with any of the ammo I feed it. I put 500 round through it that day. I recommend this for anyone who needs a great handgun,great price.

Wife wanted something smaller than a 9MM. Ruger Security 380, fit the bill! Easy to rack Somewhat easy to reload (magazines). She's happy! Can't beat the price from grabagun.

I like the size and feel of the pistol. Very pleasant to rack the slide. The magazines feel cheap and flimsy, and I found them very hard to load with their nose diving follower. Jury is still out.

Handles and shoots very well. Ran several mags thru with no issues. Little recoil and able to stay on target. Great price.

Liked: lite rack, accuracy, light recoil, high capacity, fits in 511 tac cargo front pocket, high vis front sight. Cons: not rated for +p ammo. It cycled several types of target and defensive ammo very well except for Fiocchi defense dynamics 90 gr hp. (This is NOT the extrema load using the xtp.) My ruger LCP Max did not like that ammo either. The shape of the meplat and the jagged edges of the hollow point have something to do with it I think. Anyway, if you want a high capacity .380,

Bought this piece for my mom and not only did she love it but my wife did also and went straight and ordered herself one. Super low recoil and fast gun. Might need to adjust the sights a bit for elevation but they're nice with the fiber optic front. AAC released a .380 so that's nice.

Low recoil, was on right out of the box. I love fiber optic sights. Easy to rack slide. Arthritis is getting bad so carry this instead of my 9mm

Badass gun , easy to shot and I love the size , not to big , not to small , perfect gun for self defense.

This pistol feels great in my hand, good trigger, less recoil than a 9mm, pretty accurate. I am finding that .380 pistols are somewhat finicky about ammo.
