1 year agoEverything was in tip top shape once I picked up my Ruger from the transfer agent. The agent and I checked all of it thoroughly before I accepted it and I am VERY SATISFIED. Also, I can't say enough about the proper, timely, and efficient service delivered by Grab A Gun staff. Well done folks! I'll be returning down the road!!!

1 year agoBorn in the 50's in the heartland on a steady diet of TV Westerns. Have semi-autos, a DA snubby, rifles, and shotguns, but no single action "cowboy" guns (or lever actions but hope to remedy soon) until I found the best deal on a quality piece at GAG. A really good deal! GAG is the first place I look when I'm adding to the collection. I could not be more pleased with the Ruger New Model Single Six Convertible 6.5" Stainless with rosewood grips. The fit and finish is beautiful and flawless. … Read More

1 year agoHad the Heritage Arms 22, but is seemed to have quality problems. Had to get it fixed once and still has some reliability issues. So I upgraded to the Ruger Single Six. The main use is plinking and small game hunting. Haven’t hunted with it yet, but I can hit 4 inch groups at 25 yrds rather easily and I don’t consider myself a marksman. So should be good for small game Short answer, highly accurate, smooth function, nice trigger. One modification to consider is to colorize the … Read More

1 year agoGreat 22 plinker for new shooters or people who prefer single action. the interchangable magnum clylinder is great! the 4 stars are only because ruger insists on the hardest trigger pull on the market, and it cannot be reduced.

1 year agoNow on with my review, the ejector rod does not automatically align itself with the cylinder holes, so you can't just feel, or listen for the click and eject the spent rounds, without even looking, as I can with my 357 Vaquero. Milled edges should be smoothed, - the edges on the hammer, and where the trigger enters the body are sharp enough to cut you. The gap between the transfer bar and firing pin seems a bit wide, also the bar only covers half the firing pin, check yours. The hammer/main … Read More

1 year agoI had a original single single six when i was 16 ,1966 i don't remember it being as heavy as the new single 6 maybe its because I'm now 70 go figure. I still like the new model just as accurate a fine ruger revolver might by another to have a double rig.

1 year agoNicest revolver I’ve ever own. Shoots dead on right out of the box brand new. My next Ruger revolver will be 45 Long colt - 45 ACP. Love this gun.
