purchased mine last year, love the caliber, typical Ruger " built like a tank" quality, I carry this revolver as my everyday ccw. installed a wolfe spring pack to lighten trigger pull, very accurate. 327 mag is a great all around chambering, I hand load all my ammo so finding ammo is not an issue. This is one of many purchases I have made from grab a gun, they are great.

It's a great little gun with a whole lot of power in the 327 fed. mag. It is a quality firearm. Accurate, comfortable, can shoot multiple calibers (32 H&R, 32 S&W long and short, besides 327 fed. mag.) and not bulky for everyday carry. I had some personal issues with it that I resolved. First, it's a bit heavy on the trigger pull. A spring kit from Wolff Springs solved that. The grips were lacking in style and a bit short for even my smallish hands. Hogue makes great hard wood monigrips for them.

This gun is built like a tank. I bought it primarily as a walking trail gun. After installing Hogue rubber grips on it for my large hands, it points and shoots awesome and is very easy to carry. I had to shim up the rear sight a little in order to sight it in for the usual trail gun yardage of 25 yds. but it will disintegrate a golf ball everytime at that distance and is extremely flat shooting. I only shoot the Am. Eagle 100 grain solids. This would also make an excellent CC weapon save … Read More

Smooth and accurate shooting gun. Not a lot of recoil at all. Shot smooth right out of the box. From time to time, 327 ammo may be difficult to find. When you do stack up on it. It is not very expensive. I like the 100 grain federal premium jacketed soft point.

its very nice hand gun, I think 327 mag is one of most reversibly gun out there, you can shoot 4 difference kind of rounds out of it. the only problem, with it is the grip. it to small. no matter what size hand a person has, when your shooting a mag. you want to have much control as possible. there after market ones that are much better. That's why it got 4 stars. as for GRABAGUN There very good, they have some of the best price's around. easy to work with and fast shipping. they got it all over Bub guns.

I am very pleased with fit and finish (as expected from Ruger). Immediately installed Hogue rubber mono-grip for an instant improvement. Accuracy is great from a grouping perspective. I am sure it outperforms my ability to hold on target. However, POI is pretty low compared to POA. I opted for the .327 mag, but wonder if it is regulated same as the .357 model, which could explain the low POI. I note another reviewer saying he had to shim the rear sight up. I hope Ruger offers … Read More

I believe this to be one of the more versatile revolvers out there. It shoots 4 (5 if you count acp) different cartridges ranging in power from just above a rimfire to on the lower end of the 357 mag territory. This makes it a perfect family shooter, my wife loves it with 32 s&w longs and I can keep it loaded with stout 327 federals. The revolver itself is equally versatile as the loading, it is small enough to carry comfortably but has a long enough sight radius and good sights to shoot accurately at the range. Perfect range, truck, nightstand, centerfire kit gun.

A VERY accurate Revolver. Ruger makes a wonderful product. ORigiNal grip might be small for larGe hands, but has a nice feel. Recoil not an issue when shooting .32 S&W short or long.

Amazing quality and all around a solid tank of a .327. I love the versatility of all the 32 caliber carts available. Excellent purchase.

Product as described, in excellent condition! Wasn’t sure if the 4.2” barrel would be too much, but I really like the looks and handling of it. Overall, great gun.

My first Ruger in 25 years. Wife won't get this one! This time I dialed it in. My first was a GP 100 ,38, 4 in. This time it's sp101,357, 3 in. It appears to have been sitting on a shelf for 9 years just waiting for me. Can't tell if it's even been fired. oOoOO, baby, baby!

The Ruger SP101 is a well-made, solid, and accurate revolver. Quality is top notch all around. I just had it to the range today for the first time as I write this and I shot very well with it for my first range session with a new gun, having put 65 full-power.357 rounds through it at distances of 10, 15, and 25 yards. Double action trigger pull is...Read More Read more about review stating Great revolver for experienced shooters.

I am impressed with the Ruger SP101 .357 magnum 5 round cylinder and 4.5” barrel, it’s compact size is comfortable for me to hold with the smaller grip and frame that is similar to the S&W model 60 .38 I owned. I have not fired the weapon yet but look forward to taking it to the range.

Great revolver, handles and shoots well, just as you expect a Ruger firearm to do. Guns.com did a great job notifying me when one was in stock. Ordering was quick and easy and I was surprised at how fast it was shipped to the FFL.

Top reasons for choosing this revolver... solid construction, great ergos, excellent customer service. The 4 inch barrel offers balance and stability to make each shot hit where you want, with ease. Ruger's SP101 is a real treat to shoot and own.
