Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum 2.25″ Revolver, Stainless w/ Black Rubber Grips – 5720
The Ruger SP101’s stainless steel construction has the strength to handle the powerful .357 Magnum cartridge, while still being a controllable, small-framed double-action revolver. Some of Ruger’s SP101 features are tool-less takedown and re-assembly, triple locking cylinder for more positive alignment and dependable operation, and a spurless hammer for a snag-free draw. Ruger designed the SP101 for solid performance and to be the most powerful of small-frame revolvers. With the SP101’s recoil-reducing grip, the SP101 is comfortable to shoot and perfect for personal defense or field use.

1 year agoI am a fan of revolvers and this upgrade from my .38 to the more versatile .357 not only looks beautiful but is exactly what I expected. I was really glad GrabAGun had exactly the configuration I wanted and they had the best price. Very satisfied.

1 year agoExcellent 5 shot .357 magnum snub nose revolver. Feels solid and sturdy the second you pick it up. Factory grips are adequate for absorbing some recoil from full magnum loads. This revolver will eat just about anything you feed it. The bobbed hammer is nice for concealment purposes but I recommend a spring kit (there’s a couple brands out there) after feeling of the DAO trigger. It’s gets better with more rounds down range but I have a kit ordered and will install upon arrival. Takedown was a … Read More

1 year agoThis is a solid, well made gun. I took it to the range and fired .38 special and .357 magnum rounds through it. This gun is a joy to shoot. It is heavy enough to absorb the recoil yet light enough for everyday carry. I love it!

1 year agoThis was my first dealings with GAG and definitely not my last! I walked in on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week and had my gun by Friday. GAG had the Ruger SP101 357 price $100 less then what I’ve been seeing at other gun stores. The gun itself works flawlessly! GAG came highly recommend from a coworker and they did not disappoint!

1 year agoIf I had to choose just one revolver, Ruger’s SP101 would be it. I have fairly large hands and this model of anything new or vintage fits the best in form and weight. Although I don’t buy into the snag issue with the exposed hammer model, I am still glad to have this one in addition. You can easily learn stacking to shoot it as in a SA mode. Once again GrabAGun was superb in both customer service and delivery.

1 year agoI absolutely love this revolver. I'm old school and don't care for automatics. I have the Ruger Gp100 with a 6" barrel and wanted something to conceal carry. This thing is the PERFECT size to carry and also FOR my hand size. ALMOST too nice to shoot! I added the hogue grips which makes it even better.

1 year agoI purchased this firearm from gag due THeir great service and rapid turnaround on DELIVERY. Their pricing was outstanding, and service was great. I am a four time customer. The ruger sp101 is a beautiful piece of engineering. A heavy, solid weapon with an authoritative trigger pull. It delivers a manageable volley of .357 mag with reasonable recoil. Not for a beginner. .38 special is tame, accurate, and good for all day at the range through this gun. I am ecstatic with this purchase.

1 year agoNice little pistol I purchased for my wife while riding atv's on our ranch. Better grips would have given it the 5th star.

1 year agoI've always been one to prefer weight, especially with revolvers. i bought this over an lcr because i wanted my 38's to feel like nothing and this does that. i'm happy with it

1 year agoGreat revolver. I’ve put hundreds of rounds through it from full power magnum loads down to 38spl. Very rugged and well built. As accurate as the shooter. I painted the front sight ramp Orange, which helps and added a VZ G10 grip which fits my hand better but still conceals well. In my opinion, the Speer Gold Dot “short barrel” .357 mag JHP is the best balance of power and still able to get accurate shots. .38spl +P also a good option. Can’t go wrong with this gun. Very well built. Great service from GAG as well.

1 year agoI own a 1.875" S&W 642 and a 4.2" SP101. The SP101 is a pleasure to shoot, but who wants to carry a gun that long. And the little grips (even the Hogue monogrip) don't feel balanced to me. The 642 is super light, and accurate enough. But it is not pleasant to train with. Even standard .38 make my hand sore after a couple cylinders. ...Read More Read more about review stating Goldilocks Gun
