1 year agoAwesome full size 1911 by Ruger as usual! I have been a gun smith for over 50 years and can tell you that theses are top of the line! I actually sold all my Colts to buy Ruger's !!!! You can't beat Brownells $550.00 price for this new model. They are actually $100 dollars cheaper than anyone else.

1 year agoVery light weight compared to the standard Sr1911, nice matte black frame. Trigger seemed a little loose but is adjustable. Comes in a nice case

1 year agoPerfect grip for my hand size. The recoil was similar to a 9mm. Very accurate to 30 feet so far. Have not tried a further distance yet. Very pleased with this aquisition.

1 year agoGreat, good looking gun. Poorly designed grip screws made with soft, cheap metal were a big problem for me.

1 year agoIt's noticeably lighter than a metal 1911. The recoil is fantastic, closer to that of a 9mm. The fit and finish are awesome. Very happy with this one.

1 year agoThis gun has been extremely reliable and fun to shoot. The lighter frame makes everyday carry comfortable. Perceived recoil is a little more than that of a steel frame but very controllable and accurate regardless. Great addition to any collection.

1 year agoVery stiff recoil spring so hard to rack at first. After taking apart, clean and lube fired about 200 rounds with no issues. Hit exactly point of aim when I tried it around 10 to 12 yards. Better accuracy then my ability. At one point I moved the target to the back of the range and after a short while I thought I was not hitting the paper since I did not see the hits. When I retrieved the target I had cut a hole and the shots were going through the same hole. The one I received was
