Ruger SR1911 Commander Pistol, 9mm, 4.25", Rubber Grip, 9rd, Two Tone

I bought this as a gift for my wife. This 1911 is a nice looking pistol and a good deal for the money. My wife put 150 rounds through it and no issues whatsoever. Swapped out the stock grips for some VZ ones (get standard, not thin) and had some TruGlo sights installed. My wife loves it and we'reooking forward to more range time!

I ordered this from Grab-a-Gun in Aug of 2016. I'm more of a revolver guy, but appreciate the 1911 for its history, shootability, and accuracy. The SR1911 9mm is a pleasure to hold and to shoot, with extremely mild recoil. The trigger is very crisp. As much as I like my .45 ACP full-size and commander-size SR1911s, I think the 9mm could wind up being my favorite. Also, it is very well suited for EDC. Excellent gun , accurate , fells good in hand.. field stripping is easy and also reassemble. No problems what so ever. This ruger is real smooth.

Ruger has another winner. Same size and weight as my .45 in this gun, with less recoil and the same accuracy. Would recommend this gun and GraAGun's prices and service.

I'm a 1911 fan . And a Ruger fan. Never been a 9mm fan. But, I received the sr1911 9mm, shot it 50 rounds. I was impressed with the accuracy, smooth action. Didn't like the rubber grips. I ordered wood grips from Ruger, gun looks classy now.

Another ‘new favorite’ - 250 rounds through and no issues at all so far. Great fit in my hands and Fun to shoot.

I love this 1911. It has been extremely accurate, great trigger, lightweight and balanced. The colors are great and remind me of my ruger p89dc. The only issue I have with this gun is I have never gotten that last round in the ruger magazines. I had picked up a pair of extra mags my mec gar I believe it was and inwas easily able to get the last round into their mags. Outstanding firearm right out of box. Great trigger, weight and balance. Ruger did a great job on this gun. Extremely accurate and very sharp looking with the novak style sights. Great Buy. Just as good or better than 1911's tow or three times the price.
