Well, I actually bought a Wrangler, and Ive fired it extensively. Its a good looking single action. I bought the silver color (painted) model. I found an inexpensive leather Desantis holster for it; about $30.00. The only issue is lack of accuracy. Shooting standing or resting my wrists on sand bags, the Wrangler doesnt really shoot groups. It shoots patterns and not tight patterns. At 7 yards, I get groups about 4. At 15 yards its throwing groups around 12. At 25 yards Im lucky to have a few on... Read more

Fit and finish seem good until you try to operate the action, stiff is an understatement. After oiling and working the action it became usable and then you load it.. back to square one with rounds dragging with every turn of the cylinder. Accuracy is unacceptable especially for beginners looking to learn fundamentals and build confidence. Will be sending them back to Ruger. For the price could of had Heritage with dual cylinders. If you want a noise maker that that shoots lead in general directi... Read more

For the price it is a good value if you get a good one. I can barely get my loading gate open. It is so hard to get open it literally hurts my thumb and the hammer strenght is the times that of the Ruger Single Six. I had expected it to be a little lower quality for $200, but i never expected it be a fight to load. I was thinking maybe I'm just unlucky but I have read other had the same issues I did. The accuracy is half that of a heritage. 18 rounds and it was allover the target. My single a si... Read more

This is a great inexpensive Revolver for plinking. A good feature is that when you open the loading gate the cylinder freewheels which makes loading and unloading much easier then other brands that require the hammer to be halfcocked. The 4 1/2 inch barrel gives a balanced feel. This is better than a 4 star rating but is less than a 5 star because the frame is cast aluminum and not steel. Since this uses 22LR only the frame material is not an issue and I expect to get many years of service

I have owned a Ruger in 22LR for years now and i believe its still an awesome firearm!! Still shoots like a brand new gun!!! I would buy a Ruger like this before any other brand for sure! I took my wife shooting for the 1st time after almost 20yrs of marriage and it was the gun i gave her for her 1st shoot and she loved it! Had little kick and still after many years quite accurate!!! If i can talk my wife into it im getting one of these lol Love cowboy guns! hehe

Feels solid in the hand and points naturally. Put 600 rounds through on the first outing it got real dirty...almost gritty. Took it home scrubbed and lubed and good as new. Have a spring pack on order to smooth trigger and hammer pulls but factory is around 4#. I would recommend as a entry level plinker with upgrade potential and a lower cost of operation due to simplicity.

This gun is well balanced which makes it fun to shoot. This gun is really well made and the matte color is awesome. Liked it well enough that I bought a black one just like it. ????

The Ruger Wrangler .22 LR is a very excellent reproduction of the six shooter and a very sturdy revolver which usually the .22 revolvers are rather metallic, flimsy to the feel. This one is very solid to handle. This was a gift for my wife and she was quite surprised as I was the weight and handling of it.

The Talo exclusive Birdshead Wrangler with woods grips and Desantis holster is a great little gun. It’s heavy and sturdy as a brick. I was having trouble finding one, but I got it through guns.com right away, no delays, no problems. I did pay full retail plus a fee and also a fee at the FFL dealer it was shipped to. Worth every penny to me.

Not perfect, but should get better as the rough edges are smoothed out. A little more use will help a lot.

Certified "Used" yet it's practically brand new. How do I know? First clue--Typical hard to open loading gate so I'm cycling hundreds of times a week to loosen it up. Timing and lockup are tight. Hammer cocking is tight but fine. Trigger breaks crisp. Ejection rod fine. Only two clicks instead of four with the free spinning cylinder, so not a true...Read More Read more about review stating Nice!
