1 year agoFantastic EDC! I couldn’t stand the curved hinge trigger but now the new flat trigger shoot like a dream. Nowhere near my Staccato C2 DPO trigger but i now put Canik, Walther, CZ and M&P In the best stock triggers in a polymer handgun in this price ranGe. Though i did upgrade to Night Fision Optics Ready iron sights, it DEFINITELY wasn’t a necessity. Glock and other competitors better step their game up quick cause Smith Wesson did a Phenomenal job with this firearm. Shot about 450rds and my … Read More

1 year agoPicked it up at the FFL, mounted a red dot at home and took it to the range the next morning. Dialed in the red dot and it shoots great. The new flat trigger is a little scratchy on the take-up but should wear in with time. The “wall” is obvious and the trigger breaks cleanly (haven’t checked the trigger weight yet but it’s not heavy). Trigger reset is phenomenal - short, crisp and audible. This is my second M&P9 Compact; the first (iron sights) fits my hand and points so well, I thought I’d get another one to mount a red dot on (aging eyes).

1 year agoLooked at several pistols and this was by far the best fit in my hand. Grip texture is fantastic. I love the new trigger min is very smooth and pulls great. And I like that it is optics ready for future set up.

1 year agoSo far so great. The trigger is so much better than the original 1.0 and 2.0 curved models. More comfortable and lighter feel. Grip is great. So far has proven every bit as reliable as the other m&p's that I own.
