2 years agoWonderful gun. Was surprised by the weight, size, and how well it handled recoil. One star deducted because they have such an awesome trigger the in the new Shield Plus and they did NOT duplicate it here. Feels like they’re old trigger, just flat-faced which was really disappointing. May want to wait for the Performance Center version or Apex to release a workable trigger for it if you’re a trigger snob like me.

1 year agoWow!!! This gun leaves me speechless. I love it. It performs flawlessly and feels great in the hand. The recoil is not as bad as I thought and I've put about 300 rounds in it. I love this. I bought it for a specific purpose but I want to carry it all the time and shoot it even more. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants the joy and sweet thump of 10mm.

1 year agoWicked! Sanded down the handle a bit as it was a little too rough.... After that, it's now my favorite!!!

1 year agoThis is my 3rd 10mm & the best so far. the oters that i owned were good but, again, this one is better. the grip requires no gloves , trigger is smooth, reset is silent, ambi thumb safety 7 slide lock, accurate shooting gun w/2 dot rs &tall fs. she is optics ready. not heavy and I've carried it iwb w/comfort. comes with 2 , 15 round mags. o' the power.

1 year agoWouldn't get through a full mag of range ammo without failure to feed. Sent back to smith, and once I got it back function flawlessly with range ammo. Move to hotter ammo same issue failure to feed. I have read the 4.6 inch does better but I will keep my glock

1 year agoI bought this gun as an alternative to a Glock. Unfortunately I had multiple issues with it with the first couple of magazines. There were several failure to feeds on 200 grain hard-casts, there was also a habit of the magazine dropping out of the magazine well with these heavy rounds. I switched to lighter rounds and lower energy rounds (1150 fps). Worked a little better but still had several failure to feed issues. Everything I have read or reviewed said the recoil spring is too light

1 year agoNice pistol and a must have item. Mine has a bit of a grind at the beginning of the trigger pull but I'm hoping it will smooth out with use. Love it!

1 year agoI Shot my M&P 10mm for the first time today and I am a very happy camper! I wasn't prepared for the loud report, but it felt so right in my hands. changing out the grip is so simple. Accuracy was dead on right out of the box. Take down for cleaning is simple .S&W includes a tool in the grip to aid in the take down. I'm very impressed. Now I just need to find more target ammo for this gun.

1 year agoThe M&P is far more comfortable than my glock 20. I have had a few failures to feed, I polished the feed ramp and chamber, have put 550 rounds through it without a hitch. The glock has over 5k through it never failed to go bang when I pulled the trigger!!

1 year agoLove it! The grip is awesome the gun is very controllable and of course hard hitting 10mm in the M&P is a very reliable platform. It’s one of my favorite back woods carry gun.

1 year agoAccurate and reliable. No feeding problems. Only issue is it is on a larger frame than the 9mm and grip size is larger and trigger reach is farther.

1 year agoI own many 10mm handguns, to include Glock, Sig, 1911s, Tanfo, etc. At first I wasn't thrilled with it, I had a couple magazine related failures in the first 800 rounds, but none these past 1200 rounds. I have found that the trigger, not great to start with, has smoothed out considerably. It is far superior to the Sig XTen or standard Glocks. The Sig XTen trigger felt great at the store...at the range, not so much. Possibly the superiority of the Smith's grip texture makes the

1 year agoFeels awesome in the hand and the trigger is pretty damn good for a factory one. One big issue, S&W sends it with a 17lbs recoils spring which is FAR TOO LIGHT if you plan on shooting full power. Gun wants to beat itself to death. Wait until an aftermarket spring comes out before purchase.

1 year agoPistol has run well through the first couple hundred rounds. No malfunctions, recoil is very manageable, and the fit and finish is what I've come to expect from S&W, great. My one complaint is that it rattles rather loudly when loaded with a full mag. Shake a full mag, nothing. Shake the unloaded pistol, nothing. Put em together and a very noticeable metallic rattle. This is with both included magazines. A minor complaint to be sure but I had anticipated putting this in a drop leg holster for

1 year agoThis is the first S&W I have ever purchased. I actually have the 4.5". Overall the feel of the weapon is good. It shoots fairly accurately. Has cycled every ammo I've run through it. I did get the free plugs from S&W to remove the thumb safety, and I do like that better. The only major complaint is that with the first disassembly to clean it before taking it to the range, the barrel wouldn't come free from the slide. It was hanging up on part of the machined slide. Once I

1 year agoJust a great gun for concealed carry in the outdoors! Does take a little break in time but after cycling through a hundred rounds it works flawlessly!
