S&W M&P Shield 2.0 Performance Center Ported 9mm Pistol with Hi Viz Sights, Black – 11867

Cant tell about the performance of the product as the safety was jammed when I got it home. Trigger and firing pin were kind of iffy also. May have been a faulty trigger mechanism. Had to send it to Smith and Wesson. 6 week turn around. Maybe I will update this review when I get it back and run a few rounds through it.

I now own 3 of the S&W Shield. I carry unholstered with a Clip-Draw. I am 5’6” and a buck fifty, hard to conceal and climb trucks and crates at my size with a holster. External safeties are rare these days but needed for unholstered carry. I upgraded to this “Performance Center” my old one has been a great sidekick for 4-5 years and 2500 rounds. Great fun and an easy conceal for smaller sized humans without the aiming and control issues of a pocket pistol.

First time going to the range to fire the Shield PC w/Hi Viz sights. The ported barrel and slide does lessen the flip while shooting, and the flash doesn't get in the way of the sights (not sure in the dark). Hi Viz sights are great in the day light and brightens up the front and rear sights. I just fired 100 rounds (just to test) and NO ISSUES, at all.

Sportsman Warehouse is the best place to purchase weapons from, as they provide excellent service and have a great and simple system for ordering and receiving weapons. They also have a great selection of related merchandise online and in store. S&W makes great guns. I recently purchased the M&P Shield Performance Center and I like it very much (but I would like to love it). My ONLY issue with the Shield is the 7 or 8 round magazine not being able to hold it's max capacity with the slide

Purchased this M&P Shield for my wife (she has smaller hands) and she loves it. She's in total control of the firearm. I have XL hands and it feels really good to me using the extended magazine. Since it's a smaller gun, you would think that recoil would be a little tougher but with it being ported, it's way easier to handle. My wife is 5' nothing and that had always been a problem. Quality is outstanding (never doubted it). We have put about 200 problem free rounds through it at the range and have had no issues. Overall, highly recommend this little but totally mighty little gun.

Although the stock M&P Shield pistols are absolutely great, the Performance Center editions offer Custom Shop upgrades straight from Smith & Wesson at a price point that can't be beat. I have the M&P Shield 9mm and the M&P Shield .380EZ. They are both excellent and a pleasure to shoot.

Great carry gun, nice trigger, very good sights for the day, I added a streamlight tlr6, and that’s a great combo for the night, nice size, will need a mag loading tool because of stiff springs, I also added Pearce grip extension for my xxl hands, cheap and easy to install and it works

the sights are great. ez conceal, looks impressive however i found it not be your best to carry when you need it the most. Freaking thing jamms and it is a very selective ammo eater.

Is there anything you can say bad about this one? No! It’s the backbone of CC in US. S&W keep up the good work. And PSA purchase was ease and was sent to my FFL within 2 days during COVID. So 5 stars here.

I bought this for the Hi Viz and improved trigger and I was not disappointed. I enjoy shooting it and practicing with a training laser. It feels great in my hands and easily concealable with the UrbanCarry G3 holster.

After carrying my S&W Shield (Gen1) for several years, I broke for the Palmetto State offer for the 2.0 Performance Center Ported 9mm Pistol. I was unable to try it out for a couple of weeks, but finally I was able to take it to the range for testing. WOW! What a difference! My wife and friend began laughing when I turned around, clutching the 2.0 as if it was "going to disappear" as if it was "a Dream" that would end. The sights were dead on and the trigger pull and action was flawless.

I like the ported barrel I feel like it help a bit with muzzle rise but it all maybe in my head. Overall it’s of great quality. I did a few modifications to improve its functionality and couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone wanting to be a good citizen.

Can never go wrong with a performance center anything from Smith and Wesson. Have never had a problem with this pistol. Easy to carry, but took 3 tries to find the holster I liked best.

Love the gun! The trigger weight is perfect, the gun is well balanced, not too heavy great conceal carry handgun of choice this will be my daily carry now.
