Absolutely beautiful firearm. The grip factory stippling is perfect for my taste. The optics ready slide is always a plus. good balance, good grip, smooth operation. I'd like the trigger pull to be a bit lighter, but it's fine. the interchangeable grips are a nice plus to make it fit your hands. Very apprecaited.

I took this gun for the first time to the range and I had two feeding malfunctions after racking in order to start shooting.I will check it next time very carefully.

This is just what I expected from Smith and Wesson. You can feel the quality in your hand. Great balance and shot so well right out of the box. I expect many years and rounds from this M&P 9mm.

I'm one of the first time gun owners you are hearing about. I did quite a bit of research in acquiring this weapon and am so far pleased. This gun is ergonomically perfect. I have been unable to fire it because there is no ammunition available. Okay, it's out there, but I'm unwilling to send a dollar bill downrange every time I pull the trigger. Practicing dryfire is getting old, but it gives me time to understand this thing better... and something to look forward to when sanity returns.

Love it! I have seven 2.0's, including three 5" 9mm's, but this one is definitely the best of the bunch! The over travel stop is what totally makes it! Added an apex barrel and Trigger, it's now the most accurate shooting M&P that I own

I purchased the M&P for use as a competition gun in IDPA Carry Optics division. It came highly recommended and I understand why. The gun shoots very well. It manages recoil well and is very accurate. On most guns I buy, I end up putting on an aftermarket grip, but the M&P didn't require one. The aggressive texture is just right. Not too rough, but plenty of bite to help you control the gun and get back on target. If there is a negative for me, it is the oddly hinged trigger. Unlike most

My new S&W PC M&P9 5" 9mm pistol has been fantastic, right out of the box. Got some extensive work/ light break-in on New Years Day. Shot next to a fellow with a "Shield" and there was really no comparison as far as the performance experienced. I know there is a conceal carry market for the "Shield", but it's not for me. The 5" barrel greatly contributed to the lack of rise and much less sound, upon firing.

This gun is amazing! I’ve ran several different ammo brands and this gun is very accurate in all of them. The weight and balance is spot on. This gun is in a class of its own. Far better than my XD’s, Glock, and Sig models I own. Well worth the money!!!

Wish I'd known it didn't come with a safety. S&W won't send you a safety or let you send it back for them to install. Outside of that, it's awesome.
