Possibly the most rigorously tested pistol ever developed, the new SAR9 endured 130 degree baking to simulate desert conditions, -50 degree for the arctic, salt fog, high altitude, 24 hr of rain, solar radiation, fouling, drop tests and 150000 round of live fire in the factory. Police later ran their own test that included 50000 rounds. Finally, a NATO test against major manufacturers from Austria, German and the U.S. ran 90000 rounds with the SAR9 the clear winner. However, the SAR9 has more to offer than just toughness and reliability. The lightweight polymer framed, striker fired, 9mm, SAR9 points naturally and is a pleasure to shoot. With a choice of three insertable back straps to customize fit, a low barrel axes to grip ratio to lessen muzzle climb and 20 degree grip angle providing superior control and fast second shot recovery accuracy is built in. Couple these features with a safety trigger that is smoother than a double action revolver and the SAR9 becomes the perfect carry-pistol when you want a round in the chamber.

2 years agoBoy, I'll tell ya, it shoots and hits very well. I totally love it. The grip is awesome, one of the best I felt.

2 years agoI purchased this pistol on-sale and figured I couldn't go wrong for $249.00 plus a $30.00 rebate from SAR! When I received the gun I was surprised at the weight and quality for the money. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy and it came with tools and a nice hard plastic case. As far as how it shoots, I have only put a few rounds through it but it fires and cycles just fine. I casn't speak for the accuracy because I haven't had a chance to take it to a range. My only complaint is that when I went to

2 years agoGreat pistol for the money. I have put 50 rds of Winchester white box 115gr + 20 rds of SAR 9 124gr ammo without a hiccup. I am 71 yrs old & the sights worked great for me. Loved the SAR 9 so much I bought a second one.

2 years agoGuns are awesome, bought two of them. Good luck on the rebate, six months later, phone calls, emails including pics, not a dime. Even had a rep give me his personal email to send pics to, no dice.

2 years agoGreat fire arm, but don't expect the rebate. I bought one and so did my wife as well as her uncle and not one of us received the rebate.

2 years agoMine came with trigger issues. I hated it! Sometimes it would have a short take-up then hit a wall and break clean. Most of the time it would be spongy and gritty with no wall and no break just mush. The inconsistency really threw my aim off. Plus, it had about a 6-7 lb. trigger pull. I purchased a Galloway Spring Kit and honed, sanded and polished all the internal contact areas that had rough edges. (Most of the trigger parts are stamped not milled). 1 year agoFor the price it’s an Outstanding firearm. As for the rebate Rebate? Well, you may as well forget about it because you won’t get it even if you apply for it. I believe SAR USA uses the rebate as an incentive to buy the gun.

1 year agoI love my SAR9. Ordered it from PSA and it shipped the same day I ordered it. Got a steal on it at $250. Arrived at my FFL in Florida in two days. After inspecting it I realized it is in perfect condition with not one blemish on the gun. I can't believe what all you get in the box with this gun. Backstraps for small, medium, and large hands as well as the side grip pieces to change out if you want. Comes with the punch tool and cleaning brushes as well as two 17 round mags. A whole lot of bang

1 year agoI got this gun for a daily deal price of $279 with an additional $30 rebate from SAR making the purchase total $249. Great gun and super accurate. I haven't really found any outside the waistband holsters with a pretty decent retention, so I went with a kydex inside the waistband holster from Skydas Gear. As far as the rebate goes, I received it today from SAR via email. It is a digital eReward card with a $30 available balance on it. It took just about 4 weeks from when I submitted the rebate form up until today when I received the gift card.

1 year agoI purchased a pair of these. They are 2 of the finest best shooting 9mm I have ever seen. Couldn't ask for better especially at the price!

1 year agoI bought two of these when they were on sale for $280 a piece! Mine both have ambidextrous thumb safeties which really aren't my cup of tea, but that's a personal preference issue. Great gun all the way around. YOU WON'T GET A REBATE FROM THEM AND IT'S BEEN NINE MONTHS.

1 year agoLike it alot. One of the most accurate pistols I've owned. Customer service was prompt responding to my email

1 year agoIt is a nice clean cut full size 9 mm. It is almost identical in size to my S&W 2.0 & my Glock 17. Overall I would rate it equally with the other two.

1 year agoI hadn't heard of SAR so I was a bit reluctant but in researching I heard and read nothing but good things...well, all the good press was true as I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The fit of this handgun is great as it fits so well in my hand and is so comfortable. I've shot my buddies Glocks plenty of times and did a back to back and this SAR was so much more comfortable. I love the flexibility as they give you different grip plates so you can dial it in for you. Most

1 year agoBought this gun based off reviews and a coworker talking me into it. It sat around for a couple weeks until I used it for some tactical training and shot it for the first time. Lemme tell ya, smooth effin gun right here. I will now be carrying it instead of my SDX .45. Only downfall is I wish it would have came with a pinky extension on the magazine but that's an easy fix.

1 year agoShoots great straight out of the box! No issues or hiccups whatsoever, I should've bought several more.

1 year agoI was all glock but saw some of clint's CF review of this glock copy. the ergonomics is actually way better than glock. Trigger is actually better than glock. I think this is my goto pistal. The grip and feels is much better, recoil is better. exact comparison to G17.

1 year agoPoint of clarification: SAR9 manufacturer states this gun comes with a 21lb recoil spring and it sure feels that way when brand new. Galloway Precision now offers four springs in 15, 18, 20, 22lbs specifically for the SAR9, and on their product page their gunsmith tech claims the SAR9 comes with a 17lb spring. This is NOT true, and I offered my written explanation to Galloway but they would not post my detailed explanation. I purchased a 15 and 18lb spring from Galloway and
