This rifle has proven very accurate and has a very smooth bolt and great trigger. Topped with Leopold pic rail and a Vortex scope with BDC reticle, it was dead on at the 200 and 300 yard marks if 1.5” high at 100 yards. I have had one light primer strike but their service center is upgrading the firing pin and spring with no questions. The 9.3x62 caliber has been extremely effective on large game.

I have had my new rifle for 3 months love it. Better than the 35 Whelen. The 232g onyx bullet works numbers on all the game I have tried it on. All one-shot kills. I shot a ferrel hog back end on and the bullet stopped just under the skin on its chest. Damaged everything, the pig fell on its face dead. Others I will try are the 250g , and the 270g bullets I may try solids to decrease meat damage or those monolithic bullets. I would wish that Sauer would offer upgrades to the 100. Things like a Walnut stock, checkering of different grades, fore end tip, and grip cap. But that would defeat the object of the entry level rifle.

This Mauser System Rifle is the best Allrounder ever. A good Sortiment of variable Ammo is to buy. The recoil isn’t so hard like 375H&H magnum If you’re reloader: Ramshot big Game powder Is the best Joyce. And a bunch of different .366 bullets are to use. Don’t shot the Barrel to hot 5 tounds and than cool it down so your shoulder will thank you too.

Great rifle with a great price. Hard to find. Sauer is built in the same Blazer factory as the new Mauser rifles. 9.3X62 is essentially the European equivalent of the 35 Whelen. It shoots well, even with the 286 grain bullet, about 1 inch at 100 yards. Will work on loads once more bullets become available. Uses Remington 700 scope bases. Very manageable recoil. Looking forward to taking it into the woods.
