2 years agoI mounted the scope and first trip to the range I broke in the barrel and sighted it in. The trigger is good, however, none of the empty cases ejected. When I got home from the range, I could see that one of the ejectors was sticking in the bolt. I flooded the bolt with lighter fluid to clean and lubricate it. The recoil pad is a little stiff, not an issue with the 6.5 CM, but if I had gotten a 300 WM I would consider changing it. This is the first three position safety I have owned and two or three times I have pushed the safety forward, but not far enough. So much for the minor negatives. Second trip to the range, I brought 3 rounds each of four different loads. First group from a cold clean barrel was 1/2 inch center-to-center. The worst of the four groups was 3/4 inch. No problems with ejecting. I am definitely happy with the purchase and am considering buying the same rifle in 6.5 PRC.

2 years agoGot this in a 6.5 creedmoor. Love this gun. Lightweight, great sharp trigger, and crazy accurate. Comes to the shoulder fast and naturally. Very light recoil. 1.5'' groups at 300 yds using Hornady ELD X 147 grain. Dropped a mule deer in it's tracks last year at 200 yards quartering away.
