1 year agoI got the opportunity to pull it up on a cow moose three days ago. Unfortunately I don’t have a cow permit. It was getting close to dark and vision was great for me to quickly decide it was not a bull even with minimal light. Unfortunately I have yet to harvest an animal with it! I will try again on the late hunt in a few weeks.

1 year agoIt’s what I expected and is a superb rifle. It’s only the second savage that I’ve ever had although I’ve had a bunch of other centerfire rifle’s and the reputation that savage has for accuracy certainly has applied to the two that I now have. It came with a 4X 10 scope which I didn’t want and Sarah in the Fairbanks outlet was extremely helpful in getting that replaced with a 3X9 that it was supposed to have.

1 year agoGreat rifle/scope package in hard to find .338 Win Mag caliber. Stainless receiver and barrel are terrific all weather combination with synthetic stock.
