2 years agoI was surprised by the quality of the gun considering how inexpensive it was and the was fortunate enough to locate one, considering the demand for the gun.

2 years agoIt is exactly what I expected, light weight, light recoil, easy to use. I like it a lot. Turkeys might not.

2 years agoAwesome shotgun. I have taken several turkeys with it. The farthest was 30 yards. Be sure to use TSS turkey loads to get the best from the gun.

2 years agoWith a TSS load, this is a turkey killer at 40+ yards! And it’s lightweight and easy to carry all day long.

2 years agoGreat little Turkey gun. I killed 3 with it so far this spring and hopefully a few more going to hit the dirt. No kick, extremely light and shoot as good as any other gauge. I’m shooting the federal tss out of it

2 years agoGreat gun for bird hunting, love the break action and love that it ejects the empty shells when it breaks.

2 years agobought one for this spring. Very lethal paired with Federal TSS. Dead Tom at 30 yards!! Most fun I had gobbler hunting ever.

1 year agoBest single shot made currently. It's actually made by sun city machinery in the PRC but is held to very close tolerance and is nice in the hands. As good as H&R. Carlson has chokes for it.

1 year agoAfter 32 years of hunting everything from doves to turkeys with my 12-gauge general purpose shotgun, I bought my 301T in Feb. 2021 In hopes of getting a dedicated turkey gun. I put a Pursuit Red Dot Scope on it and forked over $27 for a box of five TSS shells from a major ammo company. I wasn't happy with the results, so I spent $34 for five TSS shells from a custom loading shop. The factory choke threw turkey-tight patterns out to 40 yards. I didn't test-fire beyond that because I don't plan to

1 year agoWith shoulder surgery a couple of years ago, 12ga and 20ga wasn't going to cut it. Being use to muzzle loaders, single shot shotgun fits the bill. With Federal tss 9 or 9.5 rounds should do the trick once you get past the sticker shock cost of shells. I set it up with a Bushnell TRS 25 red dot optic and Bear Tooth comb riser kit and simple 1" sling. With factory turkey choke, tss 9.5 rds., at 25yds.,tight pattern. Should be good to 35 yds. Easy. The only thing that could make this shotgun any

1 year agoCan’t beat it for the money. Modern tss loads make it a capable gun for a fun, minimalist setup for any adult.

1 year agoThis is a great gun for the money. I put a Burris Fast Fire 2 red dot on it and it patterns great with TSS shells.

1 year agoI believe this is going to be my new turkey gun. Shoots smooth and I topped it with a red dot scope. Light and easy on the shoulder. Looking forward to next season.

1 year agoSeems well made and a neat little shotgun at a great price. Being left handed should pose little problem with the way it is set up. Its light weight will be a welcome bonus while chasing turkeys.

1 year agoGreat shotgun. Coupled with a red dot, accuracy is excellent with TSS loads. 40 yards should not be a problem.

1 year agoAmazing Turkey shotgun. I set it up with a TruGlo red dot optic and once sighted in at 25 yards using Salt Creek TSS Cold Turkey #9 I had 209 pellets in the kill zone. At 42 yards this ammunition produced 89 pellets in the kill zone. This is an amazing 410 shotgun! I included the 42 yard pic in this review

1 year agoHandles well, lightweight, patterns very well even out to 40 yards and beyond.29 pellets in turkey target at 40 yards with Herters 3 inch TSS

1 year agoI like the simplicity of a single shot shotgun. I like the way it feels when aiming it. I have not shot it yet so I do not know how well it shoots.

1 year agoOrdered this from Guns.com and received it at my FFL in less than a week, it was in perfect condition in the box with lock choke and all paperwork. My first gun buying experience with them and have to say it was an easy process that went very smooth. Looking forward to getting out and shooting the Stevens, for the price is appears to be a very wel...Read More Read more about review stating Great budget shotgun

1 year agoNeat little gun however the trigger pull is 7.11 pounds too heavy for the grandson to get a clean pull. Tried calling customer service for a schematic so my gunsmith could work on the gun to get a 4 # tirgger pull. No one answers the call for either number listed for service. Not happen with customer service or the heavy trigger pull.
