It is a really powerful gun i love it, I only had one shot on that buck and died after only seconds.

I bought this for this coming deer hunting season. I just back from the range and I am very pleased with this rifle. The vortex scope is really nice. Yea it’s not as nice as the athlon talos on my keltec rfb, but this is a pretty close. It was clear and the bore sighting was slightly off but close enough. The gun does not kick half as much as the rfb. Which is why I bought this rifle. This is my first bolt action gun, but I really enjoy firing it.

Accurate rifle and the accu-trigger is very crisp, definitely worth getting over the non accu-trigger models.

I bought this rifle in 308 a few months back and could not be more happy. The bolt is smooth, and trigger is one of the best factory I have yet to find. Once I got it sighted in, it performs as well as any I have seen in the same price range.

I purchased this rifle for my 16 year old son to use for his first time hunting. Once we got it zeroed in, and he shot a box of shells through it to gain confidence, he harvested his first deer ever, an 8-point buck! Perfectly clean shot through the shoulder. The buck dropped within 20 yards of were he was shot. Proud dad moment!

I purchased this in 6.5 creedmoor because I wanted a different cartridge. The description says the scope was bore sighted. I don't know if the person was cross eyed or not using a bore sighter, but it wasn't even close at 25 yds. I was 4 inches low and about a 1 1/2 inches right and that was just to bring it close to dead center for 100 yards. Once I got it sighted in, I was able to cut holes with it @ 100 yards. It is an absolute tack driver and minimal recoil. This would be a great coyote gun. The scope is very clear and plenty of light comes through at daybreak. I sighted in with Hornady Precision Hunter 143 gr ELD-X, great combo for this gun.

Just bought it last week fired 30 rounds though it already and I’m happy with it just stuck a cheap bipod on it and a strap and it should be good for hunting season

Worked perfect. No complaints on operation. Scope is a good quality as well. Had to have this rifle shipped to my local Bass Pro because it is a left handed bolt. Delivery was well with in the time frame quoted. Took it to the Peacemaker range in WV and after sighting in on the 100 yrd range, I was plinking metal on the 300 yrd range. Bolt was a tight on the first couple of shots but that is to be expected on a new rifle. Overall excellent rifle.

Bought the savage axis. Did not like it bolt dose not lock. Bought the 110 Apex to get the bolt lock and a better scope. Have not shot the 110 yet but of it shoots like the Axis it will be a great rifle

Works like a champ for a good price! The only reason it is only four stars is because the sight could be better. But for the price, again it works great!

Bought this gun at the beginning of November and used if for hunting, got it chambered in 7MM REMINGTON MAGNUM and it pretty much a laser pointer anytime you aim at your target (whether that’s a deer or moose). 100% success rate everytime I hunted with this rifle. Only little draw back was I had to use an entire box of bullets just to sight in the rifle or more so the scope. Was shooting way to high and had to adjust the elevation turret, had to turn it down like 80 clicks just to get it on paper. After that though it was all bullseye shots.

Just bought it & haven't fired it yet but seem to be having a problem with the magazine clicking in & staying? Just a new gun thing or? Seems really finnicky

Not a bad setup. I have this in a .308 I heard savage had, 'come along way'. But i feel they have, 'a long way too go!' The stock is cheap. Im mean really cheap! The bolt is poorly designed. If you aren't seasoned with this actual model the its most likely you will lose some skin off of you thumb. Almost 0 clearance from the scope. Trying to pull for fast action in some situations has proven to be not so great. Im not sure why they would not have made a slight curve to give you the clearance from the scope. But, for a simple package and to harvest you next meal i'd say yes.

I picked up the rifle at Daytona Beach store and during the process of clearing staff did not let me check the rifle and when I unboxed it at home noted multiple scratches in the Vortex scope that is not within my expectations; sending you pictures herewith: hoping I get a scope replacement.

Picked it up at Daytona store in a box with bubble wrapping, I was asked to check up rifle and unwrapping it at home noticed significant scratches in the Vortex scope where I am sending you pictures herewith; and after bolt assembly tried loading .350 legend ammo several times difficulty straight loading into barrel; not sure if because it’s brand new; haven’t tried shooting it yet. But total disappointment with scratches and loading issue.

Disclaimer: I currently use this combo, I did not buy it through Cabela's! I got this combo because I am a southpaw and there are many left-handed options with this set-up. I'm newer to hunting (4th year currently) so I didn't want to break the bank but still wanted a decent rifle. The Vortex scope is great and comes bore-sighted, but definitely needs some time on the range to become perfect. The adjustable trigger weight is a fantastic feature, I often pull to the right when I squeeze the trigger but the adjustable weight allows me to set the pull weight lower and mitigate my stray. I have the 110 in a 7mm-08 caliber, and the recoil pad makes it feel like I'm shooting a .22lr; I could shoot this all day without any shoulder pain. I am by no means a good shot (yet), but once you have this combo dialed in, it will not disappoint! 4 years, 4 deer and not a single step taken after a shot. I absolutely recommend this rifle to anyone getting into hunting or looking for an affordable, good quality rifle/scope combo.

Excellent rifle. Easy to zero at 100 yards. It is very easy to disassemble. The bolt moves very smoothly. I love it. This rifle is excellent all around for deer, bear or moose.

Did tons of research and settled on this rifle, sadly I wish I got a different brand. First day out of the box go to instal a sling and the forward sling mount falls out of the stock there was no back nut installed just a screw set in the hole. Emailed, couple weeks later a new stock showed up. Fast forward a couple weeks I go to shoot it for the first time, load a round, fire, bolt is frozen forward, can’t eject the casing. Beat the bolt back and the casing is all scratched and gouged from a rough chamber. 8 more rounds 3 different brands of ammo same result. Now I’ve gotta deal with the pain of sending it in to get repairs. Over all for an almost 800 rifle I shouldn’t have to deal with that it should work no issues right out of the box.

The reason I gave 2 stars is because when I picked the rifle up I could tell they gave me a display rifle. It had some light scratches in the stock and also the scope was full of dust and the caps on the scope were scratched up. I waited long enough for the rifle and excepted it. When you spend that much money you expect it to be brand new, not a display model that others handled for who knows how long. I'm usually pleased with Cabelas but not this time.
