1 year agoOutstanding rifle platform. Vortex crossfire ii optic is clear and crisp. Bolt is smooth and buttery. This rifle having the accutrigger, free-floating, medium contour, Fluted, and threaded barrel makes for an excellent hunting platform. Something I think Savage should do is consider adding iron sights to this platform to add even MORe versatility, scalability, and reliability to an already excellent platform.

1 year agoI love this rifle. I have the 243 and mine like the Winchester deer season xp ammo. It will shoot 1 inch groups at 300 yards and it is the best shooting deer rifle I have ever shot. Would not sell it for triple the money.

1 year agoI have looked for this weapon for 6 months prior to purchasing it. No one had one in 243 Win. Guns. Com had one and I pulled the trigger to buy one.
