This package combines the proven Model 110 rifle platform with a factory-mounted and boresighted Bushnell Engage scope. Length-of-pull on the 110 Engage Hunter XP is easily customized to fit any shooter for comfort and consistency, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a light, crisp pull. The rifle’s improved ergonomics get even more accuracy from its legendary 110 action, floating bolt head, and thread-in, zero-tolerance headspace system, while the optic’s drop-compensating reticle makes it easier to place precise shots at longer ranges.

2 years ago(6.5 Creedmoor) Purchased on 11/2, out at the range for the first time on 11/10. As stated in a previous post, I am positive my rifle was not factory bore sighted like Savage claims on their website. Maybe that is only if you order directly from Savage? Not sure but no big deal. Pulled the bolt, aligned the barrel and crosshairs on the bullseye, back on paper at 100 yards. From there is was easy to zero (shooting Remington Core-Lokt 140gr). Likely I won't be shooting at anything much further than 100yds, so I'm leaving it right there for now. Excited to head up north the day after Thanksgiving to hunt with my old man for the first time in 20 years! 100% confident in this rifle!

2 years agoBought this package at the local Cabela's in 6.5 Creedmoor.. I have two other Savage 110's and they shot great right out of the box. Took some fine tuning but nothing to complain about. This one was 13" right and 4" high of center.at 100 yards. Not what I expected. The Engage scope is not what you want for hunting. The recticle is very difficult to see at any power. Even put my glasses on which did help some. Doubt that this was bore sighted prior to shipment and don't like the scope.

1 year agoThis gun is really powerful and i love it, I only had one shot on that buck and died only in seconds. Oh and it was a 12 pointer.

1 year agoPunched this in a .270 on sale and with a rebate. Everything was as expected. Sighted in at 100 yards in about 6 rounds. Used this past weekend and was successful in harvesting a great buck at 165 yards. For the price, scope is decent. Felt maxed out with the 165 yard shot, others may be much more comfortable. Very happy with the purchase.

1 year agoBought this a few months back now in 30-06. Immediately out to the range and sighted in. Next couple weeks back to the range when I could to break it in and get a feel for it, and was impressed it reached out 580yds no problem. I personally like the scope, find it quick and easy to change targets and adjust hold accordingly. As for the magazine issue, it's tight at first but after working it in no problems to be said. Same goes for the bolt, little bit of a catch at first if you don't manhandle it, but after a couple boxes it breaks in nicely. Stock is decent for a cheaper polymer ones, especially if you compare to the really low budget rifles, same for the recoil pad. All in all I'd say for the price it's got a lot going for it, accuracy is great, scope is pretty good, length of pull adjustment is nice. All for under $1000, very happy with my purchase.

1 year agoBought this last April. I got it in the 6.5 and love it and the accu trigger. I should have bore sighted it before hand but I didn’t. Was way off, not even hitting paper at 100. So many rounds later it’s sighted nicely. Love it and will buy Savage again.

1 year ago67 years old & it's the first new rifle I bought for myself. It's a great package & accurate right out of the box. It was highly recommended by a friend that I totally trust. Best purchase I could of made for myself.

1 year agoI've taken this rifle out to get through the normal break in and get a good zero. The rifle does everything you would expect from a savage. Although I haven't taken it to the back country yet, I can't imagine a western big game hunter wanting anything more. As a recreational rifle, 30-06 can be a little hot for this light rifle. I do wish i could have bought it without the Bushnell scope and bought a better one after market. The Bushnell has found a new home on a Remington 597 in .22 as a squirrel gun. Still, I recommend it over a mossberg patriots or remmington 700s.

1 year agoSavage always has been making quality products, and this one is quality. The bundled purchases from Savage are great. No cheap'n out on optics pairing.

1 year agoUnfortunately I bought this gun during the covid 19 pandemic which meant I had to wait for them to become available. Now that I have it , I'm waiting for ammo to become available. I really like the gun, but not as crazy about the scope. I have leupold scopes on other guns I own which have longer eye relief, but it's still a good buy.

1 year agoI bought this gun just over a year ago in .270 and it shoots awesome. But right when I pulled it out of the box and looked at the scope, the scope was canted 45 degrees and I had to remove it and replace it back on. Cabela's did say that they would do it for free but I live too far to make it worth the trip. Should be mounted on correctly the first time. I ended up getting a much higher quality scope. The rifle itself is great and I have no complaints, very accurate out to 300 yards without much fine tuning before hand with my new scope. Looking back I wish they sold the gun without the scope and have it be a little cheaper. Would be 5 stars if it never came with the scope!

1 year agoThere are clearly a set of scope flip-up covers in that photo. Picked up this rifle and checked the box. No covers? Did anyone else get covers?

1 year agoNice gun. Does have some creep in the trigger, I will be contacting Savage about it once hunting season is over. My 2 other Savages with the Accru Trigger have zero creep so I am confident Savage will get this taken care of. I haven't been able to get any good groups with it yet but haven't had time or ammo to really dial it in.

1 year agoAs with every other item I have purchased from guns.com, it is a nice piece, arrived quickly, and I got a great deal. have not shot it yet. I shall return.

1 year agoIt is a bit early to give an overall opinion about my new rifle as I just received it yesterday. I do like the compactness of it, and cannot wait to go shoot it at the range. I will be adjusting the cheek weld and butt stock with the included inserts, next will be a Scout Scope.

1 year agoLooked all over the internet looking for a left handed .350 legend. Guns.com was only folks in America with it so I ordered it. Gun feels great. And Guns.com delivered in a very timely manner.

1 year agoYou sold and shipped to me a defective rifle, and you refused to let me return it and you replace it. Savage did not sell me the rifle. You did. This is unethical, unprofessional and unscrupulous conduct. SHAME ON YOU! I will NEVER do any more business with you bunch of crooked shysters.

1 year agoGreat guns! I was exactly what they said it was. Definitely going to buy more guns from them. They made it very easy.

1 year agoDue to the lack of ammunition it’s impossible to test the rifle. Another Democratic Obama and Biden ammunition deal.
