2 years agoI bought this gun in a .30-06 springfield. The accufit system and accu trigger is a nice option. It was fussy when it came to brand and grian of ammo. Turned out it like the Hornady precision hunter 178gr the best. Was getting 1inch groups at 100m and hitting targets at 200 and 300m no problem. The accustock bedding system is good. The only concern I have is when you take I the action apart I noticed putting it back together the action will rock back and forth a bit on the recoil lug, I'm not sure if that's how its supposed to be or if it is supposed to sit flush on the bedding but either way I have zero issues with accuracy so far.

2 years agoI bought this rifle about a year ago for hunting in 7mm rem mag. Sub moa groups at 100m. It seemed to take about any ammunition I put through. But Hornady superformance 154 gr gives me some of my best groupings.

1 year agoI bought this for a bull elk hunt, I chose 7mm over my trusted .308 hunting the unit before, long shots were a possibility. I put a Nikon 3-12x 42 M tactical for the optic, zeroing was not much of a problem. The staff at Cabela's did a great job of mounting and bore sighting. I got the rifle down to 1.5 inch groups at 120 yards off hand in a cross wind. This being 2020, I had limited choices in practice and hunt ammunition. From the bench I was stitching groups a little over an inch vertical at 100 yards. The hunt, well I lost a nice bull. I pulled my first shot at 280 yards, my buddy got him with his 06, I hit him broad side he laid down for a minute, or less and took off. Running straight away from me, I hit him in the right front shoulder area, went down like a sack of bricks, got up and over the ridge. We tracked him for four miles ran out of day light and woke up to 18 inches of snow the next day. The rifle will do the job, but I failed to get better shot placement. The rifle was a little picky with my hunting rounds, but due to everything I had limited choices. I was using Federal Terminal Ascent 155Gr, at the range Winchester 150 Gr Silvertips grouped better, but those are not suitable for a bull elk.

1 year agoI picked this up from Cabela's yesterday evening, when I looked at the gun I saw scratches ALL OVER THE GUN, even when I pulled the bolt from the plastic bag it had scratches on it. The female employee pressured me into accepting the gun saying that "these guns from the factory have scratches like this all the time. I reluctantly accepted the gun with a $50 Cabela's gift card. When I looked at the Box today I saw that it was labeled as the Display Gun......see photo

1 year agoI bought this with the hopes of making a rifle that better fit me for cold weather and bulky clothing. Out fo the box I found the trigger heavy. I tried to adjust the accu trigger but could not lower the pull. I called save and was told to send the whole rifle back. I did and received the rifle back after two months. The trigger was better but still not light eneough. Changing the accustock to fit me made the gun feel heavy and un balanced. OK. Does it shoot? Not any better than anything else I had in the gun cabinet . I also noticed it rusted very easily on the barrel. I traded this in on a TC venture compact. Fits better and shoots way better.

1 year agoI bought this rifle in 300wm while it was on sale over the holidays. I'm pleased with its performance so far and look forward to many future hunting trips with it.

1 year agoI bought this a month ago getting ready to get the barrel threaded and get a suppressor. I love the look and feel, I wont shoot it until I get my suppressor, but I had the scope mounted when I picked it up and can't be happier.

1 year agoThis Savage 110 Hunter chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor is awesome. This is my first bolt action rifle and I think I’m spoiled out the gate. I’m shoot more AR platform rifles so this one is a little heavier than I’m used to but not a whole lot. I mounted a cabelas covenant scope on it and it’s held zero after 25 rounds down range. The accuTrigger even at its default setting is great. The fact that I’m able to adjust the length of the stock with the given parts saves me hundred of dollars out of the box (I love saving money). The sling attachments are already built into the stock as well. This is just an overall great value for the price. with cabelas sale price, savages $75 mail in rebate, and a Christmas gift card, I was able to purchase this rifle for less than a third of the MSRP. Take that 2020

1 year agoGreat looking rifle! Just haven’t been able to use it since, I can’t get any .270 ammunition for it, I can’t get it sighted in. I wish people wouldn’t be hoarding the ammunition for it.

1 year agoI brought one for my granddaughter she’s ten year old. I put a 6x26x50x1000xNikon. She is awesome. And Savage 7mm08 with a Leopold she very good.It would take a marksman to beat her.

1 year agoNice gun. Does have some creep in the trigger, I will be contacting Savage about it once hunting season is over. My 2 other Savages with the Accru Trigger have zero creep so I am confident Savage will get this taken care of. I haven't been able to get any good groups with it yet but haven't had time or ammo to really dial it in.

1 year agoIt is a bit early to give an overall opinion about my new rifle as I just received it yesterday. I do like the compactness of it, and cannot wait to go shoot it at the range. I will be adjusting the cheek weld and butt stock with the included inserts, next will be a Scout Scope.

1 year agoLooked all over the internet looking for a left handed .350 legend. Guns.com was only folks in America with it so I ordered it. Gun feels great. And Guns.com delivered in a very timely manner.

1 year agoYou sold and shipped to me a defective rifle, and you refused to let me return it and you replace it. Savage did not sell me the rifle. You did. This is unethical, unprofessional and unscrupulous conduct. SHAME ON YOU! I will NEVER do any more business with you bunch of crooked shysters.

1 year agoGreat guns! I was exactly what they said it was. Definitely going to buy more guns from them. They made it very easy.

1 year agoDue to the lack of ammunition it’s impossible to test the rifle. Another Democratic Obama and Biden ammunition deal.
