Savage Arms 110 Tactical 6.5 Creedmoor 10 Round Bolt Action Centerfire Rifle, Law Enforcement Beavertail – 57232

I bought this rifle in December....it would not chamber a bullet from the magazine. when I was sighting it in I had to hand feed every round into the chamber.....I contacted savage and they sent me a new magazine...... same results....I contacted savage again and they said to return it....I took the rifle to the local cabelas, where I purchased the rifle....cabelas took the rifle and said they would return it....after a week or so I contacted savage to see if they had received the rifle from cabelas... savage told me they had not and advised me to contact cabelas and obtain a tracking number.....I went to cabelas to do so....a pleasant young man told me that cabelas still had the rifle in the back...he told me they had not yet shipped my rifle because they did not have a box....YES, A FREAKING BOX!!!! I cannot imagine an excuse for incompetence and direlection that would be more lame....A BOX!!! if my rifle ever does get repaired and returned I will not buy another gun from cabelas

Will not shoot accurate. Best 100 yard group is 2-3 inches. Have used Hornady 143 ELDX and 147 ELD Match ammo. Tried a Leupold Mark 4 scope and a Vortex 5x25 Strike Eagle and had the same result with both scopes. I have 7 other Savage rifles and all are half in group rifles. I have a Savage Axis that shoots 1/2 inch groups. Must be a lemon this time. Talked to Nick at Savage and am returning the 110 Tactical 6.5 PRC back to Savage to evaluate.

Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, shoots -1/2 moa out past 1000 yards. Definitely going to be purchasing another one in the future!

Fine rifle. Right out of the box, evrytging worked well. I did not experience any feed issues with the magazine that i had heard about pror. Bolt was smooth and had ample clearance for the scope

The rifle was everything I expected. Best of all was picking it up. After filling out the paperwork, Cabelas ran my background check and I was able to take the rifle home. It was the easiest gun purchase I have made in several years.

Very pleased right out of the box. Mounted a scope and a brake, and it immediately shot 1/2" groups with hornady 140gr American gunner. Have started working on a load with 140gr ELDs. Adjusted the accutrigger to the lowest setting, much better as I will only be target shooting this, not hunting.

One great rifle! Excellent trigger pull and adjustable length of pull. Purchasing through GrabAGun was a great experience. I was very pleased with their customer service and quick delivery. Will definitely purchase through them again.

I am very impressed with this firearm heavy fluted barrel great trigger cheek riser and Lop.i bought it for precision long distance shooting,choosing between this and the rpr i am very happy with my choice!

Great rifle for the price. A tack driver. It did come with a defective part on the bolt. A quick call to Savage customer service had me a replacement in 3 days no questions asked. The nice customizable stock and heavy barrel contour (threaded) not to mention match level trigger make this rifle a “must have” at the price point. Get one ...you won’t regret it!

Shoots sub MOA with quite a few different factory loads. For the price, this gun is really hard to be beat for what you get

This rifle right out of the box using match ammo shoots a minute of angle at 100 yards. Just reading a review like this means very little until you purchase a rifle for yourself and put it to your own test. I am extremely happy with this rifle. I mounted a Riton 6-24X50 scope to make sure I can test the true potential of this rifle. This is an outstanding rifle at a great price. Enjoy

For the money its a great rifle. It shoots sub MOA. The bedded chassis is a nice addition tO the rifle. However the rifle should come with a 5 round p mag. the 10 round mag is a little big for Hunting and bench shooting.

We own a small Savage Arsenal and the newer the gun the lower quality of the components. My rifle came with a "Cabelas exclusive" sticker, which is a turn off because that is means it was part of a big contract build in which the margin per rifle for Savage would be lower and with potentially lower quality components. I gave the bore a good cleaning out of the box, bore sighted it and Dialed it In at 25 yards with 3 shots. Cleaned it again and moved to 100 yards, Shot Repetitive 5 shot groups, all under 1” with 140gn and 147gn Hornady ELD. I wont claim to be the best shot, but this is as good as i can ask for a stock rifle with factory ammo.

Easy to bore sight, good trigger, very tight grouping after zeroing scope. Long range sight allowed me to acquire target at 700 through 1000 yrds. I am not a sniper!

Fantastic rifle. Shoots sub-moa with both Federal Fusion and Hornaday Precision Hunter. The bolt was pretty stiff at first, but became smooth as warm butter after about 50 rounds. Added an Area 419 Hellfire muzzle break, and it has comparable recoil to my AR-15s…my kids can shoot it with zero issues.

Great rifle. Comes with extra spacers and different combs for length of pull. The only thing I was disappointed with is the bolt. Came with rust, not surface rust, but rust.

Still I fired but fit and finish are good. A bit heavier than I expected but good for designer’s intended purpose. Arrived as expected.
