I received the rifle on a Friday. I loaded up some Berger 68gr FB bullets with a midle of the road charge of 32.2gr of Varget. I went to the range on Sunday and shot the three 100yd targets shown. The following Thursday I shot the 400yd group. Not bad for an out of the box gun with no attempt at load development!

I havn't shot it yet because I've been waiting for all the misc.supplies for reloading such a competitive cartridge. I will let you know after I have a chance to try it. I love all the features of this rifle and will give you a honest review.

Great gun! after the barrel break in of shooting one shot and clean till it stops picking up copper. I loaded 10 pcs of Brass with 105 gr berger bullets with 30 grs of varget after getting on target, 5 shots you can cover with a dime. i think you would have a hard time finding a gun thats equal to this gun from any manufacturer but Savage at the price grab a gun sells this gun for!1

THIS is actually my second one just a different caliber. This gun is pretty much as advertise except for the trigger. If this is your first BR rifle you will get by with it. I replaced the trigger on my first one and will on this one also. This one is a 6mm BR which I have shot before. I am still fire forming brass. All the loads are shooting under 1/2 MOA while doing so. I expect to shoot in the twos and threes shortly. If it shoots right out of the box you have a good one. If not you can screw on a quality after market barrel and still come in under half what an all out BR custom cost.

Have always admired savage accuracy and although hesitant to assume bench rest accuracy, this rifle proved savage accuracy to be very real. This 6mm BR Norma caliber printed a CONSISTENT out-of-the-box 1/4 moa at 100 yards during the break-in period. I did add one of my wife's ankle weights to the end of the stock to allow free recoil shooting to offset the very heavy 29" barrel. Outstanding rifle for the price; great delivery from Grab-a-gun.
