This is the best out of the box shooting BR rifle you can buy for the money. The silky smooth rock solid target action coupled with the HS stock, barreled in a super accurate calibre makes this a no brainer. Sure you can spend $1000-$3000 more on a custom rig, but why would you when you can get sub 2" at 600 all day long with this factory rifle.

It is the most accurate rifle in my safe. Great caliber. The barrel is 1" thick and very accurate. Rifle is heavy but this is what you want for 600-1000 yd. target rifle.

I purchased a Savage Model 12 LRP. rifle. I have nothing but praise for this rifle. it came with a target accu-trigger, which is great. i worked up some hand loads.Berger 140 gr. Bullets. went to a friends 600 yard range and set up my rifle. i can brag that i did break a clay skeet 3 times in a row @ 600 yrds.

After break in, mine shootssub MOA. Very impressed with the consistency using factory ammo. This is perfect for benchrest target shooting. If you were shooting from a tree stand with decent room you could shoot your deer in the eye from any normal range. Very accurate and smooth out of the box. Only thing would be nice is if the barrel were threaded for a muzzle device.

Ended up loading 140gr ELDM with 40.3 gr of 4350, pushes them at 2725fps. They will shot .3" 5 shot group at 100 yards and ive grouped .5" groups at 300. Def. a great rifle.

Bought this in a 338 Lapua a few months ago and loved it. This gun is the same. Great trigger. After breaking in the barrel it was shooting almost the same hole at 100 yards. Have taking it out to 800 and want to go further. Low recoil. A lot cheaper than the 338. Love shooting this gun.

Very heavy. Has a target crown, wish it was threaded (for my application), target crown is very nice though. Dropped into an MTD Chassis, the old stock is bedded and very nice.. Still building it, but it's looking very good so far.

Just shot in my first F class open match. Shot 186 and 191, it could shoot way better once I get the correct scope and feel for what I’m doing. It held its own against riffles costing 8 to 10 times as much. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I couldn’t recommend this any higher, great rifle, sub moa rifle.

Added a scope and on the paper on the first shot (commercial ammo). Can't wait to get a load worked up and see how well it really does.
