1 year agoI have a 93 in .17 HMR. It does not have the accutrigger but can shoot the eye out of a chipmunk. It’s that good. I bought this 93 .22 WMR expecting the same. First, the accutrigger is flat out amazing! There is absolutely zero creep, it breaks crisp and clean, and has very little (if any) overtravel. My big problem with this rifle is the magazine feed issues. The magazine just didn’t want to chamber rounds. Every magazine only 1 or 2 would feed correctly. I tried three different brands of ammo; same results. I discovered that if I pushed up on the magazine, while working the bolt, it fed much better. I tried a magazine from my .17HMR and discovered it locked in much tighter and it cycled the full magazine with no feed issues. The .22 WMR mag that came with the rifle has about 1/8 of an inch of up/down slop when properly seated. When it’s in the rifle, pressure on the follower causes it to drop the 1/8 of an inch causing the feed problems. The bullets just jam into the lower part of the chamber and don’t move. I’m disappointed that Savage sent out a riffle with a bad magazine from the factory. I was able to find the problem with my rifle because I had spare mags. Others will probably have the same problems and will be making returns to Savage for warranty work - simply because of the cheap magazines.

1 year agoExcellent Percision Rifle, 1 inch group flat shooting at 200 yards. Low recoil, but at almost 9 lbs. a little heavy to lug around a long way.

1 year agowHAT AN INCREDIBLE RIFLE. MY SON SAVED HIS MONEY ALL SUMMER TO PICK OUT HIS OWN .22 MAG AND THIS IS THE ONE HE CHOSE. GOT IT SET UP, SIGHTED IN AND TOOK IT ON A HOG HUNT WITH HIS PAPA. HE SHOT A BIG BOAR RIGHT BEHIND THE EAR AND DROPPED IT! HE WAS AND STILL IS SO EXCITED. ACCURATE COMPACT GREAT TRIGGER GREAT LITTLE RIFLE

1 year agoExcellently made bolt action 22. It’s balanced and have a smooth trigger. To improve your sales, add the 10 round magazine with it.

1 year agoThis thing absolutely surpassed all of my expectations. It shoots great, has a real nice build quality and excellent trigger. The mag fits a little sloppy, but it’s in no way a deal breaker. Instantly one of my favorite guns to shoot.
