Perfect price and perfect rifle for a new young hunter. He shot it last weekend and there was little felt recoil. I can imagine his next few hunting seasons with this rifle will be a big deal. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Excellent rifle for my daughter. Worked up some hand loads and this little rifle holds .25 moa @100. Totally impressive

A good gun for the money. The Axis II with its AccuTrigger is a much better choice. I would rate that model with a 5 star, as the plain Axis’ trigger has too much creep and too heavy a trigger pull

This rifle is what you pay for. Short light and right length of pull for a shooter of small frame. The trade off is a heavy and gritty trigger.

Its accurate, ill give it that. Great Single shot. Wont eject spent cases of any brand. Then savage had the audacity to tell me i had to pay to send this piece of garbage to them to get fixed. Go with Ruger, much better quality.

Won this and gave to my son to use on his first hunting trip. Easy to use. Great distance on target. Scope was right on. He enjoyed his first trip. Great hunting rifle.

Rifle came with additional (original) stock and a guns.com hard case. Beautiful rifle, can't wait to sight it in.
