love that it has a threaded barrel, my silencer fit perfectly, the gun is lightweight, and love the adjustable trigger. The bolt seems to be really stiff at first but got smoother after about a box of shells.

This is a threat Gun for the money Match the bullet weight to the barrel twist and you will have great shooting rifle

Bought during black friday at a great price. Loaded some ammo and I am getting 3/4 in group at 50 yards. Initially had some difficulty ejecting the brass but it worked out after 20 rounds.

The bolt catches right before it's upright for the rearward pull. It's not just a slight catch where a little tug fixes it... I have to force it up quite hard to finish cycling. No amount of lube helps resolve the issue. Also, I have to push up on the magazine when cycling rounds for the bolt to catch the next round and load it. Otherwise, it just slides over the rounds in the mag
Savage Axis 300 Blackout

Savage Axis II .300 Blackout was purchased to use with a Suppressor but the threaded Barrel has about 1/4" before threads start.Because of this recessed area the Suppressor won't screw on.This was a wasted buy.Not happy. The only reason I purchased this gun was using the suppressor. Savage Arms RECOMMENDED that I contact a Gunsmith.Sounds Cheap. The Gun has never been fired. Don't buy this gun.

Not ejecting as it should. I had to call Savage and get a new ejector spring for my rifle. I’m not impressed with using such a large action on the small case of the 300 blackout. It still seems to take a lot of force to pull the action back to get the case to eject properly. I think the case and action have clearance issues. On the plus side, the gun is very accurate. I can shoot 3/4” groups at 100 yards with my rifle.
