1 year agoI got this for a birthday present in the 30-06 cal. Not a great gun but you get what you pay for overall great starting hunter gun but a good amount of knock back

1 year agoBought this gun in 22 250 got it for 599.99 plus tax, first time out with it put down a coyote at 100 yards hit right where I was aiming with the scope that come on it. Gun shoots good, shots moa. Obv there's better rifles out there but for the money can't complain im totally happy with it. Only thing I would do would is put a better scope which I went with nikon pro staff.

1 year agoI bought this in 30-06 for my first rifle 5 years ago when I started hunting. It’s has been an amazing first rifle! It’s nice and light, good quality and shoots sub MOA. I shot a mule deer at 125 yards my first day out with it and the deer dropped on the spot. Since then I have shot a number of other big game animals with it and I have been very impressed. I have since upgraded sako 85 and my brother now uses this rifle and loves it! My only complaint is that the magazine is not very good quality and the plastic shroud that surrounds the metal portion now moves a bit when it’s not inserted into the rifle.

1 year agoNice look and feel out of the box. Magazine material (metal and plastic) feels cheap. This was definitely not boresighted - not on paper at 50 yds. Re-tightened the rings and mounts (rings were loose). Once dialled in, getting penny sized groups at 100 yards with Hornady Varmint - 55 Grain - V-Max - 20. Trigger is heavy for my taste, will see if this can be modified as it's not the adjustable ascu-trigger.

1 year agoIts accurate, ill give it that. Great Single shot. Wont eject spent cases of any brand. Then savage had the audacity to tell me i had to pay to send this piece of garbage to them to get fixed. Go with Ruger, much better quality.
