1 year agoAnother accurate Savage rifle with a great trigger. I own nine Savage rifles and each one is accurate and has a great trigger. I did have to shim the front magazine mount 35/1000" so that the magazines would properly seat, but it was an easy fix.

1 year agoVery nice rifle. Very accurate. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the bolt. It's very stiff. I wish savage built their bolt like Ruger.

1 year agoI purchased this rifle with the bull barrel and I absolutely love it. It is extremely accurate up to and over 200 yards. I was shooting prairie dogs on a calm morning so I don't know if wind drift is a problem. The action is a bit stiff, but maybe with time it will get smoother. Also the sound of this rifle doesn't scare off the prairie dogs as quickly as a larger caliber does.
