1 year agoExcellent cartridge for target and varmit/coyote use. Kills raccoons and coyotes easily to 150 yards. Smaller critters much father. Shoots well under MOA. I upgraded the stock which makes it feel like a real rifle. Easy to keep clean too. Definitely louder than a .22. More like a high pitch (super sonic) .380 so nearby houses aren't annoyed.

1 year agoLove this super accurate rifle, hate the factory stock, flexes and is warped. Know a Boyd's will fix that. I bought it before it became a factory option.

1 year agoGot a stainless bull barrel version. I've put 250-300 rounds thru this now. Extraction is an issue and you need to keep a tool handy to pry the brass out, I use my Gerber. Brass sticks in the chamber pretty tight sometimes, roughly 10-20% depending on rounds expended. Bolt is a little stiff and you have to make sure to pull all the way back or it won't pick up. Usually an issue with new shooters, but happened to me a few times as well. On the plus side, it is pretty accurate for a rimfire, MOA

1 year agoSportsmans was Great to me. The people there sold me the right mounts/ rings and put my scope on the rifle. Then they bore sighted it. Before I left the store I bought several boxes of different ammo to test fire for accuracy. Out the door ready to shoot.
