1 year agotOOK IT OUT FOR A LITTLE LONG RANGE FUN TO START WITH. 800 YARDS WITHOUT A PROBLEM. ACTION TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO IF YOU'RE USED TO STANDARD BOLTS ACTIONS, BUT SMOOTH ENOUGH ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OUT IT. NO HOGS YET BUT LOOKING FORWARD TO TRYING IT IN THE FIELD.

1 year agoPretty slick action. Love the modular stock. My only negs would be you can't just shove a round in the breach and load it; usually it hits the barrel face instead of going in the chamber. Also Savage needs to sell the barrel extensions so we can start swapping barrels easy.

1 year agoThis is a very well built gun. The bolt action is awesome. The stock adjustment on the impulse is user friendly. Having trouble purchasing extra magazines. Highly recommended for purchasing.

1 year agoSo far I am happy with my purchase. I put a Leupold vx6 scope on it. I am getting consistent 1” groups at 100 yards with hornady 150 sst and Remington 150 core-lokt. My scope position and eye relief distance allows quick bolt movements with out hitting myself in the face. Much faster back on target than my standard bolt actions.
