1 year agoThis was an online order which I picked up in store. The firearm is a youth 22 rifle for my daughter, she has completed a firearms safety course and has really enjoyed using her new gun at the range

1 year agoI like the rifle including the Savage Accutrigger - I put a nice scope on it and shot 2-3" groups at 100 yards - not bad for a 22. However, it will not eject - the brass gets extracted and then just lays inside the receiver. I had to turn the rifle upside down to shake out the brass every time. The firing pin doubles as the ejector - fortunately, Savage has great customer support - they have offered either a new ejector/firing pin (for me to install) or to send back the rifle for them to repair. Not happy to have to do this, but will eventually get it working.
