1 year agoPurchased this gun in 20ga 5 years ago and don't have a bad thing to say about it. After 2 years and around 1,000 shells the forend became loose. I contacted Savage and they had me return it. Within two weeks it was back. It hasn't had a single problem since. This gun has killed everything from doves to geese without a problem. If you need a light gun to carry for chukars the 555 is the way to go.

1 year agoGreat gun for the price. If your going to buy one, spend the extra money and get the 555E with the ejectors rather than just the extractors. I have a couple of these and both are good but the "E" is more enjoyable to use.
