2 years agoLooks exactly like an original with no frills and for a third the price. Shoots great with no issues thus far. Order came with 2 mags and a great case with cleaning supplies. Very happy with my purchase overall.

2 years agoThe weapon has every indication of being solidly made. Weight should not be a problem; it is a matter of custom. My only observation is a "bite" felt under the ducktail, meant to protect shooter from being bitten by the slide. Fingerless gloves help.

2 years agoHave not fired it yet. Very well constructed. I plan to take it out next weekend. Feels great in my hand. Grip is comfortable and just right for me.

2 years agoGreat value! Works well with 200 or 230 gr ammo. Out of the box cycles LSWC and JHP’s. This is period correct for WW2. I knew very little about the brand and was unsure at time of purchase. Today I am a TISAS SDS fan. Quality, fit and finish as good as Springfield, or Kimber. The only thing I would change is the grips.

2 years agoAlmost like the original Colt 1911 I carried in my 3 tours in Vietnam ???????? it is a no frills balanced version and at bargain price. It is a can’t miss pardon my pun it’s not my intention..

2 years agoSo far it seems to be a good gun. I have not had a chance to shoot it a lot yet but I like it. It is very well made.

2 years agoGrips are plain plastic. Put some double diamond wood grips on in rosewood ($15.00), much improved look. Thoroughly cleaned the internals to remove the packing grease and re-oiled the slide. Trigger is great, all mechanicals are great. The finish is the parkerized plain finish just like the WWII Colt was. Overall, good quality gun!

2 years agoI haven’t had a chance to try my SDS 1911A1 because my ammo has not been received. The 1911A1 was received in good order and in a timely manner. I’m disappointed that the ammo has not been delivered. Thank you for the quick SDS shipment. Ted B.

2 years agoThis is a clean classic 1911 with no bells and whistles. The gun preforms well at a great price. This green metal was an unexpected surprise. It is a favorite in my collection.

2 years agoThis is my first purchase of a firearm. I am a World War II history buff. this is the coolest pistol, mainly because of the history of it. I haven't shot it yet. Waiting for this coming fall to take gun safety usage and defensive training. Looking forward to that.

2 years agoI love the gun, I have been wanting one for a long time and now I have it. It's what I trained with when I was in the Army National Guard.
