From the SIG SAUER Custom Shop, a two-tone 1911 loaded with features. This non-railed pistol features a Nitron slide over a natural stainless frame and is accented by beautiful custom wood grips. The slide is further accented by polished cocking serrations and a flat top which enhances the two-tone aspect of this pistol. The slide is topped off with adjustable combat night sights while the frame is outfitted with a magwell for fast smooth reloads. The frame and slide of the STX are machined to exacting tolerances and hand-fitted to insure reliability and performance. The frame features 25 line per inch checkering on the front strap while the mainspring housing has 20 line per inch checkering. Like all SIG SAUER products the 1911 STX pistol contains only premium internal parts including a match grade barrel, hammer/sear set and trigger. For safety, the 1911 STX features a beavertail grip safety, extended ambidextrous thumb safety and firing pin safety.

1 year agoSuperb handgun, took it to the range and right off the bat on target, the feel and trigger are exceptional. Sights are fantastic. If u feel the need to buy a 1911 this is definitely the right choice. This is my first 1911 and I am exceptionally impressed.

1 year agoI carried a 1911 for more than 3 years while fighting in Vietnam. The 45 1911 is the most reliable, dependable hand gun known to man, and mine NEVER let me down. NOT ONCE. I have owned my SIG 1911 STX for about a year now and have fired hundreds of rounds at my club. My SIG 1911 is by far a more accurate weapon than any 1911 I have ever handled, and I think I may have fired most of the 1911's available. 1 year agoThis pistol is a work of art. I didn’t need another 1911 .45 but it was love at first sight. This handgun is a perfect example of Sig Sauer’s ability to produce a weapon that is exactingly balanced between style & one of a kind design and finely tuned functionality/reliability. You can shoot the freaking lights out and do it with an entirely unique art piece. Take this thing to the range and just watch the heads turn. 1 year agoI absolutely love the Sig STX 1911. Truly a custom shop gun! Although NOT labeled with custom shop! The action and performance of this 1911 is smooth as glass and the action is super rapid. The style and feel of this beautiful beast is top notch! I ordered a custom leather holster for this gun because this is truly a go out to dinner gun.

1 year agoYou can put the paper frame wrap from the factory back onto the gun but that doesn’t make it new. Wear marks on barrel say it was not new. The factory box says it was built in 2012. The only thing that kept me from returning it is the 1911 is in good condition but there’s no way I’m buying from this group again.
