SIG Sauer Varmint & Predator rounds utilize yellow-tipped projectiles designed specifically for explosive expansion and unmatched accuracy. All loads feature projectiles that are light for their caliber, yielding higher muzzle velocities and flatter trajectories across all practical hunting distances. The Varmint & Predator rounds contain the same high-quality single base extruded powders as SIG Match Grade rounds. This ensures consistent round-to-round muzzle velocities and insensitivity to temperature change. SIG Varmint & Predator rounds are produced on state-of-the-art loading equipment with electromechanical monitoring for charge weight consistency and geometric conformity.

1 year agoWe typically reload our own rifle ammunition but primers are hard to fine so I always buy Sig 10mm ammo and been very impressed with them so figured I would try Sig’s .243 Varmint load and you can bet that they are going to be Spot On.

1 year agoHave only had time to shoot 5 rounds to sight in my rifle for this ammo. Only slight adjustment to zero over previous brand. This had a little more felt recoil and slightly higher point of impact, but after 2 rounds the other three touched. At 70 years old with bifocals I am tickled with the results and am thankful for bench rests and scopes. As always, top notch Sig quality.
