2 years agoA very good offering from Sig Sauer . I was able to harvest my first Whitetail with this round . Shooting from a Savage 10 Ba Stealth in 6,5 Creedmoor . Pretty accurate round that did its job perfectly . Slight quartering to shot . Entered just behind the onside leg , Lung/Heart/Lung/Offside shoulder . Minimal damage to the meat , and the bullet did not exit , getting lodged in the offside shoulder . A great round to give Mono hunting bullets a try .

2 years agoAs always, fantastic ammo. Prints 1/2 minute of angle, and has been one shot kills on hogs and white tails. Expanding my supply with Sig Sauer Ammo!!!

2 years agoOut of sig cross 18in barrel, sub moa. Shooting steel not game. Good substitute for ELD match if it’s out of stock.

2 years agoLike alot of people I got the 716 thinking I was going to slay every deer in the north woods. Unfortunately that rifle is not meant to shoot polymer tipped or bonded ammo and throws it all over the place HOWEVER my MOA at 100 yards is less than 1/2” all day with match grade ammo but you can’t kill anything with match grade SOOO.. I got the 150grain .308 copper rounds and was astonished on the results. Dropped a large deer literally in mid leap at 115 yards and it expired before it hit the ground. I did spine it so that helped. Entrance wound was about the size of a nickel and I never found the exit?? Pretty sure it disintegrated in the spine as the vertebrae where is hit it was destroyed. Short story is this stuff shoots well in the 716 , is very accurate and seems to do the job. I’m still not convinced that a copper 150 grain bullet will do the damage of a 168 nosler accubond when the shot is in the meat and not the spine. Sig needs to come out with a 168 or 175 copper bullet. Anyway the bullet seems to work but again I’m skeptical on a lung or body shot.

2 years agoI haven’t had a chance to shoot this yet, but I plan on using it to hunt deer with my 8” SBR. It looks like well made ammo and hopefully it shoots as good as it looks. I’m waiting on the Sig Romeo 8H optic to arrive before I sight it in.

2 years agoUsing a brand new Browning BLR, I had 25+% of the cartridges not fire on the first try. Most would fire on the second try. 2 of about 60 would not fire after 4-5 tries with left a strong indention on the primer. I have not had a single issue with Hornady or Winchester ammo not firing, so I do not believe it is the gun. The ammo was acceptably accurate, but you cannot hunt with a cartridge that has a significant chance of not firing. Sig needs to review these primers and address quality control or change primer manufacturers.

2 years agoI sighted in at 100 yards, which is the most average shot to be taken in North America for whitetail. Bullets were on top of each other in 3 shot groups. I have taken 2 hogs and one buck with these rounds. The blood trail was so extensive from both hogs that Stevie Wonder would have seen it. They did not run more than 37 yards from double lung hits. The buck took a double lung shot, trotted 13 yards toward me and fell over. Bullets were never recovered as they still had enough torque to drive through the animals. Kills were relatively quick, rounds function adequately in the AR platform, and provided me with meat for months on end. This is my go-to ammo for hunting. Couples great with my SIG Echo Thermal Scope.

2 years agoThis is the only ammunition that groups somewhat well out of my SIG CROSS 308. Fairly consistent 1.5 moa. Everything else is 2+. I’ve also tried Hornady ELD-X, SIG Elite Series Accubond, and G9. I ranked 4 because I only shot 1 box.

2 years agoThe very first thing you notice about this ammo, is how easy it is to load into magazines, the nickel plating helps them drop in like butter. They feed and cycle through my 9 SBR with ease. My search for a HD round is over.

2 years ago10.5" AR-15. They shot 2215 fps. 2.5" 5-shot group at 100yds. But, a 7" and a 10" 5-shot group at 200. They were not tumbling, just not very accurate. The velocity from the 10.5" barrel was surprising. If I was hunting in an area where I was limited to 100yd shots, I would definitely use this ammo.

2 years agoHighly recommended. My first non-lead bullet ... but extremely pleased. Very accurate. Plan to use for a black bear hunt in the autumn. I have complete confidence in this round’s ability to get the job done. Nickel plated case feeds like butter in my Sig Sauer MCX Virtus Patrol.

2 years agoAr15 Pistol, 10.5" Ballistic Adv barrel 1:7 twist, suppressed .. avg accuracy i was getting was 1.5 MOA @100yds Deer one: Beautiful large Doe, broadside, 75yards, just behind the shoulder, heart/lungs destroyed, no exit, ran 10yards down hill into creek bed Deer two: Young Doe, broadside, 15 yards, just behind shoulder, heart/lungs destroyed, exit far side, ran 10 yards died in heavy brush. Worked like a charm, heart/lungs in both were destroyed, minimal to no damage to the meat. perfect.

2 years agoI bought this for a hog hunt using my 300 Blackout with 10.5 inch barrel. The included photos are from the largest boar shot at 50 yards. I originally wanted a 110gr Barnes Vortx, however, I was unable to find any in my area. I was looking for a solid copper bullet and this also came highly recommended. I am very satisfied! Hog was quartered to me, bullet entered in front of right shoulder and was found just under the skin behind left shoulder.

2 years agoI'm always happy with the quality of your products, however, you really need to switch from Fed=ex for your shipping until they get things figured out. This order was shipped out by you in a timely manner but then took 2 weeks to reach me. I currently have another order in transit from you that left your facility on 9/10 and still is not here with no estimated time for delivery. Today is 3 weeks! Use UPS!!!

2 years agoBest ammo I’ve found in a factory hunting round for 300 blk. Accurate and efficient killing power. No feeding issues, no failure to fire, great quality control. Priced in line with most other premium 300 blk ammo. Hope it continues being produced. My gun really likes them
AARON M.
2 years agoGreat Ammo! Paid a premium for it at Bass Pro. Online from Sig way better price. I had my gun shop build a 7.5" 300 bike AR15, this ammo shot and cycled flawlessly.

2 years agoIncredible hunting round. These solid copper projectiles take the 300 blk to the next level. Closely resembles the old 7x57 Mauser of the last century. Fast shipping, good pricing. Great Job

2 years agoGreat ammo from sig. accuracy is decent out of my Faxon 7.5”, 2-3 in at 100yrds. The trajectories are very similar to the Magtech 123 gr making these a great pair for training and defense

2 years agoTook this on a hog hunt. Not only did it drop 6 hogs with zero follow up. The land had a TON of Armadillo on it. It handled Armadillos no issues. In total was 6 hogs 10 Armadillo. I bought these because the Barnes 110GR Vor-TX were impossible to find. I am glad I found this round. I will be using this round exclusively for hunting. Held a great zero out of 16" barrel. Once zeroed I was hitting armadillos standing at 70 yards.
