Sig Sauer 45 Auto/ACP 230gr JHP Elite Performance Ammunition 20rds – E45AP2-20

Like every V-Crown round I have shot or tested the 230 grain is pure class. Instantly a player with the best 230 grain JHP rounds on the market. The V-Crown gives you world class quality, performance and value. I never expect anything but great from Sig. I believe Sig Sauer as a company expects to be the best and I believe they want me to expect that from their products. Well I have never been disappointed with anything Sig Sauer and this ammo is no different. Top shelf stuff.

I like having Sig specific ammo for my 1911. I even use the Sig Ball for practice and see a difference in cleaning, which is made much easier.

Hope to never have to use my Sig V-Crown, but if you did all the research about what gun to buy and chose a highly rated weapon, it does not make sense to buy ammo you’re not sure of who made it, and where it came from. Had a bad experience years ago with foreign ammo and corrosive residue. Gun range was pushing a brand of 9mm, and I ask if they had any Sig, thinking it might cost more. They did have Sig, and same price, so it’s not that expensive for range either. So, nothing but Sig goes in my Sigs, no worry about the quality, cleaning after range is quick work. I trust Sig.

Work quite well in my HK45 and XDS Mod 2; 100 round shoot with no problem. Comfortable recoil compared to Federal Law Enforcement or Remington Ultra Defense. And very clean. The only flaw is a bit expensive.

SIG products always great. And glad SIG could provide in this time of turmoil and created shortages.

This gun is made of high quality and fits perfectly in the hand. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone looking for a compact size one.

I have been using FMJ 230g from Sig while trying to stay active & practice so when these Elite V-Crown, JHP became available, I grabbed a few boxes. I was not expecting the kick. They felt like P+. Very impressed.

What should I say? Ammo from the manufacturer of my weapon - it doesn’t get any better. My groups are what a recipient of the Navy Expert Pistol Shot medal should expect - ten rounds, seven holes. ????

This is the EDC ammo I depend upon to defend myself and my loved ones. It has to work right, first time, every time. If I do my job, it will do its job - I can depend upon it.

I carry a Sig .45 as my EDC gun. It seems only logical that I would feed my top of the line weapon some top of the line ammo!

This ammunition shot flawlessly through my P220 Legion pistol. I highly recommend it to anyone shooting 45 caliber ammunition even if they do not own a sig pistol. The accuracy is great, it shoots straight and true.

Ordered this ammunition for my collection of 1911 firearms. The price was great and I divided the rounds up among my pistols. Took two magazines to the range to get a feel for firing with them. Absolute nail drivers. Accuracy was outstanding. My groups could be covered by a half dollar.

If you're carrying a compact .45 . . . THIS is the defensive ammo you want. It's a full 230 grain hollow-point that is specifically designed for explosive power out of shorter barrel compacts. It's more accurate than most of us will ever be and it feeds very reliable in all my .45's. It's not cheap, but what's your life worth? Case closed. Be safe out there folks!

I did my own "ballistic" testing with gallon jugs etc and the expansion was great leaving me with confidence carrying it in my EDC will surely stop something if I need to. Would highly recommend.
