Picked this bad boy up on sale and is now my new go-to rifle. Although be aware that the primary purpose of this rifle is for a packable 300 yd hunting rifle it is considered a Precision hunting rifle with sub-moa match capabilities out to 600 yards (not an LR match rifle) and if you have some really good loads can be accurate out to 800-1000yds (for target shooting). This is a full-featured rifle with so many possibilities of having an AR-style folding stock w/precision creature comfort

Overall I really like this rifle and I have it setup in 308 with a thermal scope for predator hunting. It should have come stock with the sig muzzle break (suppressor in progress). It will kick you hard. The safety issue is present on my rifle (safety switch hangs up between ‘safe’ and ‘fire’ however it will only fire when aligned on ‘fire’). The folding stock is nice and adjustable. The recoil pad could be improved (softer). The stock is a bit tricky to open and close and also doesn’t lockup perfectly solid (there is play when locked out).

I’ve only fired around 50 rounds through my Cross, but so far it has met my expectations. My initial groups at 100 yards have been about 1 MOA, but my groups should improve. So far, Nosler 150 grain accubonds have provided the best groups. Overall, the Cross is a lightweight accurate rifle. I plan to use it on an Idaho spring bear hunt in the near future.

I was in the market for another AR platform rifle for hunting but was not opposed to a bolt action. It is poabaly one of the nicest guns I have ever owned. Easily adjusts to any user and is light weight enough to carry and shoot with accuracy.
