1 year agoYou have chosen to discontinue a iconic pistol for what reason. In the past I have owned a 220sao and a dasa and loved these weapons. I would have liked to buy a P220 non legion but I guess Sig is removing that option for me

1 year agoWhen I turned 21, my Dad said "pick whatever handgun you want". That was 32 years ago. When I was a kid, I'd pine after the Browning BDA, which was a Sig P220. So by the time I turned 21, I knew I'd have to have a P220 in .45 ACP (the Browning BDA was made in a few calibers initially). Mine is so old it's got stamped on it "Made in W. Germany"... note the "W". This older Sig P220 has been by my bedside for 32 years protecting my family. And I like it that way. I recently put 150 rounds through

1 year agoI have shot handguns before and nothing really clicked. I am not sure if it was because it is my first weapon or what. I love my Siggy, it fits well in my hand and shots great.

1 year agoIt's unbelievable that Sig would discontinue the handgun that started it all for them. Quite possibly, the finest all-around handgun ever produced, glad I still have my made-in-West Germany model. Not everyone wants a plastic gun - bad move.

1 year agoI have a P220 Elite in FDE and I love it. I replaced the sights with XS big dot sights and the hammer and trigger. Lastly I have an Olight with ligjt and green laser.

1 year agoI own about all of the Legion series in DA/SA and in SAO, and in 9mm, .40s&w, .45acp and now in 10mm. I have yet to experience a malfunction of any sort. Some say that hammer fired handguns are obsolete and more difficult to master, I beg to differ ! One of the best triggers are DA/SA and/or SAO.

1 year agoAll metal, DA/SA, 45 ACP, Sig Goodness. If it were ever possible for an EDC CCW to be an heirloom piece, it would be this P220 Carry. The only downer is that seller sent me the old school 7 round magazines, not the modern 8 rounders that replaced the old ones a decade ago. The 8 round magazines are MORE convenient for concealed carry beca...Read More Read more about review stating Appendix Carry Approved Heirloom Piece

1 year agoThis piece of equipment is great for using as a nice stand for cook books as it is very durable. It is also great for sautéing vegetables and the bullets add a healthy amount of vitamins such as lead. I highly recommend this for large gatherings where you need to make a lot of food because it cuts down the costs of having to use things like mixers...Read More Read more about review stating Great for cooking

1 year agoExcellent experience buying through Guns.com. Sig’s p220 legion excels on every measure—Quality is second to none, recoil and balance in hand is very well thought out, grip/sights/and trigger are all superior to most, agility is surprising giving the weight and full size. Will be buying into the legion family again.

1 year agoThis awesome pistol arrived about 4 days after I ordered it, on a weekend. Ad said it was a safe queen. It was. Pistol was pristine, not a nick or scratch. Even had the Sig sticker in the box. Guns.Com really did a great job on this pistol.

1 year agoI used to own a P220 and traded it years ago. I e regretted it ever since. That gun shot perfectly right out of the box. I haven’t had the chance to shoot this one yet as I only picked it up 5 days ago. I bought this one used as the new ones are ridiculously high since Sig stopped manufacturing the P220. The only drawback to the model itself is th...Read More Read more about review stating Fine weapon.
