1 year agoLooked for this gun in 5 shops in DE, but no one has seen one in a year or more. Grabagun had it and for a great price (it's gone up already). Ordered on a Thursday and my FFL received it on Tuesday. Went to the range and shot 50 rounds with no issues. Better groupings than my SW M&P 40. All of my other guns are black, so this "pretty" gun stands out from the rest. Very glad I grabbed the gun last week.

1 year agoI’m loving my 1911SC E-Series! This is my first 1911 (I have a few M&P M2.0s in my collection. I had to adjust the front sight just a tad but dang, this gun is spot on! It’s a beautiful piece of workmanship and is a breeze to carry due to its light weight (thanks Scandium frame!) and smooth grip (not textured lime my M&Ps). A great gun from a great site! GrabAGun is my go-to for “collection” items!

1 year agoMost comfortable fit for me and serves me well for target practice and concealed carry. Not a single malfunction with whatever I feed it. Besides that, this S&W is just damn pretty to look at. I am extremely happy with it!

1 year agoFirst 1911 for me, and the rounded lower grip was important feature for a concealed carry weapon . Excellent quality and workmanship.

I was also attracted to the Springfield Armory EMP. I bought a EMP in .40 S&W. It was very nice but the recoil was snappy. I decided as I aged I wanted a softer r...Read More Read more about review stating S&W 1911 E Series SC .45 acp.

1 year agoguns.com did not vett this add by the pawn shop that sold it through them. Test fired brass in envelope enclosed in the box was dated 2004. The gun was sold as "E" series with wood laminate grips. Nope. E series came out much later and the grips are S&W faus ivory.

1 year agoI bought this S&W 1911 sc E series and after 50 rounds I loaded my defensive rounds and tested the trigger pointing the gun down range and bang! The safety is not working. I took it back to my gun store to send back. I waited two weeks to get it back. I immediately went to the range and shot two mags and again tested before holstering and bang...Read More Read more about review stating 1911 Like a little dream gun in your hand
