2 years agoThe M&P lineup has always impressed me in comparison to other handgun manufacturers. Buying the performance CORE model was no exception as it over performed my expectations. The amount of control you have with the ported barrel and accuracy from the trigger upgrade from the standard model deliver one of the best handguns I own.

2 years agoThis is by far the best handgun I own and I own a few. It is now my EDC. Its a big gun for Every Day Carry but I'm a big guy. Very accurate, very well balanced and ergonomic. The ported barrel and slide definitely help to mitigate muzzle rise and thus keep you on target. I have mounted a Vortex Venom RDS and Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light which help to make this great gun even better. Stock trigger is also solid, crisp. Defintely a Glock killer in my opinion.

2 years agothe barrel gets dirty very quickly and strongly, if you use a red dot sight it will be clouded by the openings of the barrel, when you shoot a few raunds

1 year agoGreat handgun so far. Couple hundred rounds through but definitely enjoyable to shoot. Love the fact that a reddot can cowitness with the sights on the gun. The grip is rough but excellent and is just as good as my other M&P. Definitely a good buy and would recommend it.

1 year agoI've been looking for this gun since the m2.0 was first released so when I saw it was announced I immediately started looking for availability. No surprise when GrabAGun was the first to get some stock! This gun sports the same texture profile as the original m2.0 series. Very grippy and probably too much for concealed carry. I would venture a guess that most people buying this firearm intend it to be a range toy or a competition piece. for these roles it really shines. the trigger and … Read More

1 year agoThis is a terrific handgun. With the M&P 2.0 line, Smith and Wesson has hit a home run. This model is just one of their successes. One of the greatest features of the Performance Center (Core) line is the Optics Ready system. All you do is remove the optic mount cover plate and insert the proper mounting plate for your preferred optic. They may not have a plate for every optic ever invented but they certainly cover all the popular ones. I have tried a Vortex Venom and Holosun 507c-v2 on mine. … Read More

1 year agoEasy mounting my vortex Venom. The pistol feels great in my hand and the muzzLe rise is minimal. A pleasure to shoot.

1 year agoS&w is a quality manufacturer. Having purchased several s&w handguns, I trust the brand. Value and reliability are virtues they stand behind.

1 year agoLove almost everything about this pistol. Only drawback is figuring out how to remove the rear sight to make windage and elevation adjustments on the Vortex red dot i purchased for it.

1 year agoImmediately upon receipt I found the front sight far off. I did not have the tools to align it so I took it to an M&P certified armorer. They could not align it or remove it without damage. It is now back at the factory for the last two weeks.

1 year agoI love everything about this firearm. What I don't like is living in a state that won't let you have more than a 10 round magazine. Now imagine paying $800 for a handgun and not getting a magazine with it. Not one. Look, I get that PSA may not feel comfortable shipping this to my FFL with the (2) 17 round magazines and leaving them with the responsibility of converting them into 10 rounders. But to ship a gun with no mags, especially when you sell those mags for $35+ on your site seems a bit

1 year agoI love the pistol itself but the front sight was way off center. I had to take it to a gun shop to get adjusted and they really struggled.

1 year agoPorted barrel really helps. Trigger job from the pro shop is VERY much better than my 2 other M&Ps. Have not had a chance to check out the Holosum red dot that I just mounted. Very easy to do.

1 year agoI've bought and sold a couple of M&P's but this one is a keeper. The gun ran completely fine on factory 115, 124, 147, and 150 grain ammo of all different kinds. I swapped the recoil spring and rod out for an 11lb Ed Brown to run some soft shooting 115gr reloads, added an apex sear and striker block and those little things really woke the gun up. Everything else is stock. It runs fast with a Trijicon SRO and a magwell. The ported barrel does make a difference with hot 124gr loads, very flat shooter with hot ammo. If you're looking for a good budget competition pistol, this is it!

1 year agoGreat gun! It performs so much better then what I was expecting! A great made in America masterpiece and without breaking the bank.

1 year agoInitial cleaning found plastic shavings in trigger group, Removed prior to use. Failed to cycle first 3 shots but no problems since with 200+ rounds. Smooth shooting. Had to change plans with RDS as not all fit with C.O.R.E. , and can't co-witness even with high sights. Using Leupold DPP.

1 year agoFantastic gun! Huge fan of the S&W M&P lineup- excellent full size with suppressor height sights, solid grips, and minor performance tweaks. By far one of my favorite guns to shoot and reserve for home defense.
