2 years agoVery satisfied, love the grip, easy to strip down. I've seen a review or two here that are about the Compact... That's a different gun. I do agree about the standard Canada 10 round mags though - it is impossible even with a speed loader to get the last round in... Which means you have to do some surgery on them. There are some places that have the US 17 round mags that have been limited to 10 using a drill burr, they are just as difficult but at least it is easy to fix. I think the trigger is fine and has been improved, if you are a competition shooter you may go for an after-market trigger but you probably would do that anyway. I can sympathize with the fixed sights a bit, but if you can't live with it then the rail makes it easy to go for a laser sight - which I highly recommend because it becomes easy to identify any problems bin your sighting and firing.

1 year agoHaving searched online for a couple of weeks for a M&P 2.0 9mm, I wound up on the Bass Pro website. Because of the high volume guns sales lately I thought I was out of luck but Bass Pro was able to order the gun and had it at the store in less then a week. Very impressed when all the other guns stores said there would be a long delay to get the gun. The S&W M&P 2.0 9mm is a solid everyday carry gun.

1 year agoCabela's weapons staff gave me a great pistol education in the store, recommended I try out several at a shooting range and then buy. I did my research from experts online and then actually shot several 9 mm models and landed on this one from the feel, shooting accuracy for me, the handgrip feel, balance and price. Fantastic 9 mm weapon. Once I found my choice, the online staff at Cabela's helped me purchase the pistol online and have it shipped to the store to pick up (since my store did not have that particular weapon in store (M&P 2.0 9mm full size 4.5" semiautomatic). Love it!

1 year agomags are impossible to load without a mag loader. slide release is very stiff, slide release for left hand use is not functional at all. gun shoots extremely low .

1 year agoPurchased my 9mm almost a year ago now and have had zero issues! Sight may have been slightly out but was adding a laser anyway..,, problem solved. Was worried purchasing online because I like my guns to look immaculate, was so relieved it was flawless!! Cheers to Smith & Wesson!

1 year agoI have had mine for about 2 years now and it was my everyday carry until I upgraded to the 5in CORE model with ported barrel/slide (also a GREAT gun). Mine is the 4.25in with17 round mags - not the compact. Im honestly confused by the reviews that complain about the sights being off and mags being hard to load. Mine is very accurate. I was shooting a little low and left in the beginning but once I figured out I was anticipating the recoil and adjusted, I had no more issues. I can get very tight groups out to 15 to 20 yards and farther. My mags were a little hard to load in the beginning but once I broke them in they were fine. One suggestion is the UpLula mag loader that Cabelas sells. They work great. I have no problem recommending this firearm. Its dependable, accurate, ergonomic, good trigger and looks good too! Smith ands Wesson did it again!

1 year agoI bought this 2 months ago and fires 250 rounds the sight needs to adjust. I thought that it's been tested and adjusted before they sell it. I will bring it to the range again and try to adjust it. Out of 250 rounds never got jammed , mags sometimes doesn't fully engaged.

1 year agoPerfect point ability and accuracy right out of the box, The only thing I can say about the reviews saying that the gun shoots shoot low or low/left are flinching, anticipating recoil, and have not shot enough rounds thru the pistol to learn proper trigger control. The M&P 9 2.0 is a great shooter. The people shooting low or low/left need some range time to learn trigger and grip technique. (Or.... buy a pistol with adjustable sights and adjust them to your flinch.)

1 year agoI just bought my second Walther gun; first one was in October a PPX and this one, a PPQ Tac M2 with improved sights and additional magazine. I am a big fan of the newly designed trigger for better feel and control. Can't go wrong with Walther firearms; they come with an excellent guarantee and highest quality materials. Thank you.

1 year agoBought this last week and shipping was pretty quick. Found the trigger felt like it had sand in the mechanisiam so with a little polishing on a couple parts it is smooth like it should be. Grip is the best I have seen with respect to it sticking in the hand solidly. I think this is going to be my next favorite to my CZ collection.

1 year agoWe used these during our firearms portion of the academy for corrections. I’m biased to Glocks, but I can’t deny the results and reliability of this firearm. The two largest pros for me were the trigger and grip.

1 year agoI have shot guns for many years and own many. This is my first handgun in 45 ACP and before purchasing this one, had never previously shot one. I'm glad I chose this full size gun to cut my teeth on. The interchangeable grips allowed me to adjust the gun to fit my hand. The stippling is aggressive enough so I can get a good grip on the gun and is still comfortable for a range session. My main use for this gun is at the range, but I purchased a good holster and heavy duty belt for hiking and woods carry. There is nothing on this gun I would change for my purposes.

1 year agoIf I did not own a CZ75BD this S&W 9 would be my favorite. Right now it is running a close second. accurate. Feels good in the hand. Functions flawlessly. Easy to service. What more can you ask out of a weapon?
