IF you are a older person and week do not buy this gun. It is really hard to rack the slide. I am 84 and it took me a little time. to find the best way to do it but it is still hard. I have not shot it yet and it may get better after a few rounds.

I love this gun. I am 73 yo and big hands. This has a little kick but as expected, HOWEVER it’s easy to get back on target !!! The action has never failed The slide does take a fair grip but if you can handle that, you’ve got a great pistol. My petite wife can handle the slide but I will say it’s not easy for her. I let her load and shoot it even though she has her own pistol Have fun!

This pistol might be one of the most common semi auto firearms in circulation and for a reason. I love this small conceal carry gun. Its easy to hide and shoots great. And I have 5 magazines with it.....awsome!!!!!

The M&P 9 Shield works as well as my full size 9mm. I've only had one range outing with it-my observations: grip is a little small for my hands, recoil is the same as my full size 9mm, accuracy was off but that may be either to my first using it or the sights need adjustment, and other than those 2 issues the gun works well. This pistol is an excellent pick - if you live in California. Otherwise there are better S&W choices, more updated pistols - M&P Plus...better trigger, larger mag capacity, better grip etc. Guns.com was excellent in their service. It was easy to order, I received email updates on my order status, price was great.
