Great pistol, just a tad disapointed in trigger pull. Not at all bad but nOt as as great as my other Smiths

Really loving this revolver! With the price of ammo, i can actually afford to go to the range and shoot for hours without spending a fortune! I adjusted the Sight two clicks to the right and this beauty is spot on! I would highly recommend this firearm to anyone interested in shooting .22 caliber

Absolutely perfect. Fit and finish is a-0ne. Accuracy and reliability are 100%. Quality is unmatched. Not one problem with over 2,500 rounds fired so far.

This is a well made gun and is fun to shoot. A little heavy for younger shootewrs, but my son will grow into it.

Absolutely the most fun ever for 22lr shooting. Revolvers make you concentrate every shot. This one shoots wonderful. Was going to have trigger work done-doesn't need it. S&w did great job on this one.

excellent quality gun. but could use a different front sight. hard to see in any condition. should be a fiber optic sight.

Beautiful gun. I would recommend buying it to anyone. I wanted a 22 lr revolver and got down to a 617 S&W and a Ruger Sp 100. After checking many reviews and reading comparisons my choice was the S&W 617.

needs work! Trigger pull is too strong (10 pounds). S&W rubber grips are the pits. But there is no other choice without going to the open market. You see I was told the S&W no longer provides Quality Grips for there weapons. Way to go, cutting expenses in the exact wrong place>

Despite what Guns.com customer service stated my particular gun is indeed a used Firearm as my gunsmith confirmed Still was charged full retail Lesson learned never buy sight unseen on firearms.

The S&W 617 is an AWESOME revolver! I purchased the 4" model and checked for any lead shaving (alignment), and had no issues. It's not a light weight gun (especially with the full lug) and is very accurate, therefore, very easy to shoot. Out of the revolvers I have, this is now my favorite!

A very well-built revolver, as are all of Smith & Wesson's, and I like the ten round capacity. The only downside to this revolver is the weight, I would like it and I think it could be lighter and still be a great gun and a great shooter.

First time purchasing a gun online the process was excellent. Withing a couple days I received a call from the FFL dealer to where the gun has been shipped to. I when and started the paperwork process and i had my gun with within couple days i got my gun.
